BMR,OHMy (1)The Week in Review is where I combine Stacking the Shelves, The Sunday Post and It’s Monday! What are you reading?  If you have never joined in on these meme’s you can check them out by clicking on the meme and it will take you to the host blog.

Well, we had a lot of rain again this week and I am really glad for the raised garden beds because everyone else I know is having a lot of problems with not being able to till their rows because it’s to muddy and dealing with weeds like we did last year. I have to weed eat around my beds and now and then pull a stray weed out of the garden beds but other than that I don’t have to deal with weeds growing in where my plants are. I think the only problem I will have is trying to weed eat where my squash are because they are starting to vine across the walkway so I might have to have someone hold them up while I get weeds out of the walk way. 🙂

Went to Branson to see a play called Moses and it was awesome. It was at the Sights and Sounds theater and I am always amazed at the things they can do. I mean right before you very eyes a rod turned to a snake and your are staring at it wondering what illusion they did to make that happen.

Don’t forget SUMMER COYER is almost here!!! Sign up by clicking on the button above my post. 🙂

  1. It sounds like you had a great week, Stormi, rain and all. I’m glad your beds are protected so that your plants can grow without being drowned in water and mud, as well as weeds.
Your theater sounds really good. I’m glad you had a good time.
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading – those new books look fantastic!

It was a good week and my veggies are growing so much (My spaghetti squash plants are getting a bit out of hand…lol) I really enjoyed the theater, we don’t get much of that around here and it was a two hour drive just to attend that one.

  2. Uh oh, she’s reading Darynda…

I WISH we had more rain up here. We’re only getting showers every so often. I’ve actually had to turn on the sprinkler system to run everyday. Not looking forward to that water bill. 😛 And your squash sounds awesome! I can’t grow zuke or squash at all! They end up rotting. So I grow cuke and tomatoes in whiskey barrels and call it good. I vine the cukes up and I have fantastic luck with them. Well, now I’ve jinxed myself but…

    Branson always sounds awesome!

I am sure in a while I will be complaining about not having enough rain, that is always how it goes here in Missouri. 🙂 I hope my zukes don’t rot, but you never know. Good luck with your tomatoes and cukes. 🙂

  3. Sounds like a great week. I just got my garden in last week. We’ve had a lot of rain since it went in. We don’t have raised beds, but we haven’t had too many issues so far. I hope you enjoy your books. I love Charley Davidson on audio. I still need to start Baba Yaga series. I’m on a creepy kick right now. Suspense then to horror. I hope you have a great week.

Garden is going great! OMG Charley Davidson, not sure why I didn’t start that series earlier when everyone was telling me how great it was…lol. 🙂 LOVED IT! I like Baba Yaga but I think I liked the first one more than the one I am listening too as I didn’t realize they were going to be different Baba’s in each one and wanted more of the other Baba…lol.

Nothing wrong with a creepy kick I get those all the time. 🙂

  4. Sounds like you had a great week (even if it was rainy!). I love going to plays. I’m currently sweet talking my husband into taking me to see Cinderella when the Broadway tours comes through this fall. I think it would be fantastic! Great book haul this week. Looking forward to COYER this summer 😀 Have a great week!

    • Stormi

Great week and fun play. Garden going crazy but that is good…lol. I would love to see Cinderella as it’s my favorite fairtale! I can’t wait for COYER to start myself as I miss all the chatting in the facebook group as we seem to get a little quiet when COYER is not going on. 🙂

  5. Glad the gardening is going well. We had storms this past week but everything is wonderfully green. Glad you enjoyed the play, I love going to the theater. Hope this week is simply wonderful!!

    • Stormi

I am too but I have a feeling I am going to be busy canning and freezing later on…lol.

The play was great, wish I could go to more! 🙂

  6. What a fun trip it sounds like you had – and I think I saw some pics on facebook. I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on The May Queen Murders as that has been one I have been highly anticipating. I just finished “The Invisible Library” a few minutes ago and I really liked it – I think you would too. My review for “Bite the Biscuit” goes up tomorrow. I thought it was good, but had a few issues with it so I am interested in seeing what you think since you read so much of this genre. Glad your garden is doing so well.

    • Stormi

Yeah it was a lot of fun. So far May Queens has been a little strange, but not bad. I am glad you enjoyed “The Invisible Library” cause it sounded really good. 🙂 Now You also have me curious to read “Bite the Biscuit” so hopefully I will have a chance to do that soon, so behind…lol.

  7. I’m looking forward to COYER and like what you guys are doing with it this time. Branson sounds fun and I’ve never been there but relatives who have speak highly of it, all the shows and stuff. That theater does sound amazing.

Good luck with your garden, sounds like you have it under control pretty good. 🙂 I love fresh stuff f/ the garden…

    • Stormi

I can’t wait for COYER! 🙂 Branson is a lot of fun, but I don’t get to explore it near enough.

  8. You make a good argument for raised flower beds. 🙂 The play sounds good, Stormi. My husband and I are going to the theater one afternoon next month to see The Man of La Mancha. We saw a college production of it many many years ago, and enjoyed it.

I read another of Shawntelle Madison’s books years ago–a paranormal romance–which I enjoyed for the most part. I am not sure Bound to You would be for me though. Unlucky Charms sure sounds good though!

I hope you have a great week!

  9. Glad your garden is growing well. We got a couple of tomatoes yesterday, the first of the season-nothing better! Our garden is just in huge pots on the deck and still he deal with critters walking right up on the deck to indulge. You live near Branson? I have always wanted to go but it’s too far away from me. Moses sounds fascinating!
