The Week In Review #87

May 8, 2016 Memes 25

BMR,OHMy (1)The Week in Review is where I combine Stacking the Shelves, The Sunday Post and It’s Monday! What are you reading? Β If you have never joined in on these meme’s you can check them out by clicking on the meme and it will take you to the host blog.

AAAAH Tomorrow I am off to BEA! I am so nervous and excited. I have never been to a big city and I am not sure how a hillbilly in a big city will go…lol. This will also be only my second time on a greyhound so I am a bundle of nerves.

Don’t they look so sad!

So worried about my fur babies, but my dad is sweet and let me put a cage inside while I am gone because it’s suppose to storm. (I think he was secretly worried about them but he just doesn’t want to tell me that. Two of his favorite fur babies are out there too!) So at least now I will be able to have fun and not worry as much about my babies. There is a herd (more than I need but couldn’t get rid of any of them!)

So I have Kathy doing her regular MWF post and I put up a review for TTH, so my blog is covered next week etc for some memes that I normally do. I hope you stop by and comment and when I get back I will check it out. πŸ™‚

My first BEA, so excited!! WOOOOHOOO! πŸ™‚ You can follow me on instagram and twitter for updates on what is going on in Chicago. πŸ™‚

If I feel like it I might put a late Sunday post up next Sunday (BEA haul and recap) as I won’t get home until Sunday at 7:15 am. I will either be dead on my feet, or awake and can’t sleep…lol.

I am worn out taking care of my dad, I can’t wait for BEA vacation…lol. Wish you could be there would love to meet you in person! This will be my first Joe Hill as I never finished the first one I tried, not cause I didn’t like it. I just put it down and then there was so many other books…lol. This one is a review book so it has more staying power…I hope. πŸ™‚

Me too! I was so worried though I don’t see myself getting much sleep as they are not to happy with being caged up in the house…lol. Who needs sleep anyway…maybe the bus will be comfy enough for some zzz’s. πŸ™‚

I am going to take lots of pics as I am so excited to attend BEA for the first time! πŸ™‚ Wish you could be there.

Dad might regret letting me cage them inside, they are not happy…lol. At least he can close the door to his room. πŸ™‚

The have no clue why all of a sudden they have been caged when they are use to roaming the house. Wish there was a good way to communicate with animals. πŸ™‚

Tomorrow afternoon I will be on my way! πŸ™‚

I enjoyed the first book in the Ferals series so I am hoping this one is just as good. Fingers crossed you get the new Riordan book! πŸ™‚

I am very curious about Joe Hill’s books. I might try The Fireman first.

Enjoy BEA…how exciting that you can go! I haven’t gone since I started blogging…and it was in LA that year (2008). I’m waiting for it to get a little closer to me to go again.

Thanks for sharing…and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

I am hoping The Fireman is a good one. πŸ™‚ At least you have been to BEA, hope you will get to now that your a blogger! πŸ™‚

This might be my only time to go so I had to jump at it. πŸ™‚

    • Stormi

I think I am getting zero sleep tonight…lol. They don’t like being caged no matter if inside or outside but at least if it storms they are inside. πŸ™‚ It will make me worry less but now I will worry about if they are eating and if my brother will feed them right…lol.

      See you Wed!!!! πŸ™‚

Have fun at BEA! I think taking a Greyhound in would be fun… I hate flying. πŸ™‚ And Chicago is a fun town… you’ll have a blast.

I want to read The Invisible Library a lot, I just saw it this week and it sounds great.

    • Stormi

Thanks, I have road a greyhound before and it was interesting. πŸ™‚

Hope you get a copy of The Invisible Library!

Awwww! They do look sad. But yay for being inside again! I’ve never been on a greyhound for along trip. My mom did it a few times coming to NC from OH. Believe it or not the bus is less time than the train! Our country is seriously lacking in train transportation. One day I want hubby and I to travel around the US on the train. And maybe drive I-40 from Wilmington, NC to California. That would be cool. πŸ˜€

Have fun and take plenty to read on the bus. And maybe a small pillow. lol Safe travels!

I traveled greyhound to CA before that was interesting. πŸ™‚ I wanted to take a train but it didn’t work out with my dad getting his knee fixed. Would be a lot of fun!

Got my kindle, phone for audios and a battery charger, though it says the new buses have charge ports on the back of the chair in front of you so I hope mine does…lol.:)

  5. Barb(boxermommyreads)

I’m so jealous – have a blast at BEA. At least you won’t have to worry about your babies as much. I had to go over and grab a few of those freebies. Be safe and again , have fun!

    • Stormi

I wish you were going to BEA as it would be great fun to meet you. That is what is going to be the funniest part meeting bloggers I visit and talk to via their blogs or on facebook. πŸ™‚

  6. Laura Thomas

Those are some cuties, Stormi. I’m sure they’ll be okay. Your dad sounds like mine was. he wasn’t happy when I got a dog but he actually built a doghouse with his own hands.
Have fun at BEA. Wish I was going with ya! And I’ll stop by your blog while your gone. I always enjoy kathy’s posts too:)

    • Stormi

Two of the dogs sleeps with him and he will even call for them when they don’t come right away, so I know he likes me babies. πŸ™‚ I will admit to having to many but some times that just happens..hehehe.

I wish you were going to as it would be great fun to meet! πŸ™‚
