This has been a busy week…sighs. I am ready for some not so busy days…lol. It seemed like all I did was run around this week. We got four garden boxes built and filled and then dad found a small greenhouse for only 50 bucks and went and got it so I have been putting my plants out in it. (To lazy to take a pic right now will get one later…lol) I also transplanted a lot of my little plants into bigger contains for more growth, so hopefully some will grown big and strong and I can have a great veggie garden. πŸ™‚

I’m enjoying reading about your garden adventures because that’s basically all I’ve been doing when not reading, too. We just got our new garden bed filled and replanted all our strawberries in it. I haven’t had any luck with tomatoes in the past (too hot here) but I’m hoping this year will be different!

Oh I am glad you are enjoying it. I am going to do a post about my adventures and talk about gardening once a week till the veggies run their course. πŸ™‚

I am SHOCKED! AbsolutelySHOCKED that you have no netgalley/edelweiss books! lol You are starting to get like me??? πŸ™‚

Love the greenhouse would love to have one, maybe when/if we get a house that is one thing I want in the yard. It would be fun to grow the plants from seeds. I haven’t really tried that yet since I don’t have room for them. I usually just go to the store and grab the plants and plant them.

I hope we both have a good year of yummy veggies!

Have a great week, Stormi! Only a few more week until we meet! I can’t wait! ox

Oh don’t get to shock, I went and visited Kathrine from I Wish I Lived in a Library and ended up requesting three….lol. They are all from series I have read…so I couldn’t help it. πŸ™‚ Visiting blogs during TSP is so bad for me….lol.

It does sound like you had a busy week but I bet you’ll have an awesome vegetable garden to show for it!

I have A Study in Charlotte on my TBR pile and need to read it someday soon but I keep putting it off because of the negative reviews I’ve read. I love Sherlock Holmes and the show Sherlock so I will try to approach it with an open mind.

I’ll have to check out some of the cozy mysteries on your list. The Bachelor Girl’s Guide to Murder sounds like fun.

I hope I have a great garden, last year was a bit of a fizzle…lol. Crossing my fingers for this year! πŸ™‚

I enjoyed A Study in Charlotte but it didn’t blow me away. She was kind of like Sherlock but with a little teenage girl drama.

    • Stormi

I have some plants started but I haven’t had a chance to actually plant them cause I am making sure we don’t have another frost yet, we can some times have those late in April. I hope it warms up for you soon!

I’m very much new to the gardening scene…I’m picking up the equipment I need this year then swotting like mad over a pile of books to get planting herbs and veg next year. Hope you have a good reading week!

    • Stormi

I am pretty new too and it’s a learning process, last year it didn’t go so well so I am hoping this year will be better. πŸ™‚

  5. Laurel-Rain Snow

The gardening sounds fun…I wish I was good at it! I do remember planting a vegetable garden back in the 70s…LOL

I hope you love the Country Club Murders series…I have read the first two and I’m eagerly awaiting Clouds in My Coffee.

Thanks for visiting my blog, and have a great week.

My grandmother use to garden and I remember helping but it’s been a long time since I tried it and last year was not so great so maybe this year will be better. πŸ™

    • Stormi

Yeah, I am working my way down this series by HG. I am also excited that she is signing autographs at BEA and it will be my first time attending so I hope I can get an autograph. πŸ™‚

    • Stormi

Yeah, she is a favorite that I haven’t read a lot of so I am working through the Krew Hunter series on audio, though I do have some of the latest ones as review books but I so like going in order even though I know I don’t have too…lol.

    • Stormi

Oh that must be so nice, mine isn’t in the ground yet but I am hoping to get to some planting soon, my little seedlings are growing. πŸ™‚

  6. Greg

Hope the garden works out great! The Deep End is a lot of fun and Throw a Monkey Wrench looks fun too. I’ll have to check out your Cloak & Dagger linky for some good mystery reviews. πŸ™‚

I think it was your blog I seen The Deep End on first and then I seen it somewhere else and you’ll just wore me down…lol. πŸ™‚

  7. Lark @ The Bookwyrm's Hoard

Have fun with the garden! I’ll be interested in your take on The Cracked Spine, which I’ve read but still need to write the review. And A Study in Charlotte is in my virtual ARC pile, too. Love the title of The Bachelor Girl’s Guide to Murder. And I’ve got my fingers crossed that I get approved for the two Heather Graham books I’ve requested. I hope you have a great week, reading and otherwise!

I hope you liked The Cracked Spine. πŸ™‚ A Study in Charlotte wasn’t to bad so I hope you like it. πŸ™‚ Oh I hope you get the HG books I love her books. πŸ™‚

You’ve had a busy week but I bet the garden will look great. I’m not good with plants so my backyard is really bare. I’ll need to get some potted plants to add some color.

I hope this week isn’t as busy so you can enjoy a good book. Have a great week!

Quite a few on your ‘Might be up next’ list appeal to me Stormi!

I hope this week isn’t quite so busy for you – though it sounds like you still achieved a lot on the reading and blogging front.

    Take care!
