Not much news to report here. I have been busy last week doing a huge clean of the house and purging of things I don’t need. I am a mini horder…lol. It’s getting to cluttered in here and I can’t stand it. It’s not spring yet but I am in the spring cleaning mode. πŸ™‚

So I upped my goal for walking to 6k and did pretty good all but one day this week so not to bad. My weight lose isn’t going as fast as I would like. Only 8 pounds so this week I am revamping my meals and cutting out some carbs cause I think I have been eating to many carbs even though as Oprah says, You can eat bread!. I think this gal needs to cut some out…lol. πŸ™‚ Got to find ways of uping my protein and veggie intake (not a huge veggie person..not a rabbit so not a huge salad person but trying…lol)

Okay that is about all I got. πŸ™‚

You’ve been killing it on the cozies! πŸ™‚ I was going to participate in your cozy challenge this month and sadly did not get my read in time- my reading has slowed down- but I enjoyed your posts. It was nice to see the audio narrator chime in on your Deadly Cliche post too- I should consider listening to those on audio. I do want to get backto that series…

    Berried Secrets looks cute.

I can’t live without bread- don’t feel bad. LOL

Yeah, been in a cozy mood and Tantor has really been putting out the cozies for review and well, I just can’t help myself. I think most of the review audios I have gotten from them lately have all been cozies. πŸ™‚ Though I have been neglecting my eARC’s so I need to cut out the audios for a bit and read…lol.

It was really cool to have the narrator come visit my blog, not had that happen to often! πŸ™‚

I know it’s great but I just want it to be more. I look in the mirror and don’t see any difference…lol. I am so bad about just never tossing things out…lol. πŸ™‚

I’m a bit of a hoarder too, I have boxes full of cards and trinkets. I can justify my keepsakes now, but when I start collecting bread-ties that is when I will start to worry. Good luck on your house cleaning and cutting out bread — it sounds like you’re doing fantastic!

    • Stormi

Yeah, I use to hoard anything I thought might be valuable some day…gotten a little better at that…lol.

Yay for 8 pounds! The Oprah bread commercial cracks me up. I think she may be just a bit too into bread! Not that it’s not good and all. That’s great on the purging and yay for no NetGalley! I’ll be curious to see what you think of Berried Secrets and Skeleton Garden. I have Skeleton Garden coming up soon and I’m looking forward to it. Have a great week!

Yeah, Oprah is funny. We have this thing on the WW app called Connect it’s our social media…lol. She has been on their a couple times with a pic of what she is eating. πŸ™‚ (Or someone is posting for her…you know how that is with celebs.) πŸ™‚ My problem is not bread so much as pasta and cereal. πŸ™‚

Walking is good but don’t lose weight to fast. Slow and steady is better and don’t get discourged is you don’t lose any one week. It’s normal. I need to start WW, I tend to fail on that one a lot but I know it will work for me, I am just so lazy lol.
I want to start walking when it gets warmer with my son because the meds he is on has made him a little heavy and it’s not good for him to be that big.

    YAY! No Netgalley! Lol

Have a great week, Stormi! Happy Reading! ox

Yeah, but I get tired of seeing how others are losing like 3 or 4 pounds and I am stuck with like .8 or something like that, but I try not to get discouraged but It’s been about 6 weeks and to me I still look the same. πŸ™

It sounds like you’re doing everything you should on the Weight Watchers’ front Stormi – and the 6km walks are great. Well done!

I really need to do something but am still struggling with the motivation – which is ridiculous cos I feel really unhealthy!

    xx

I just want to see results faster, I am impatient. πŸ™‚ I am sick and tired of being sick and tired so that is my motivation. πŸ™‚

I could use a cleaning too, I am a bit of a horder too. Good luck!

I have put on the major cleaning to long. πŸ™ I hate cleaning.

I hope I like Berried Secrets it will be my first by that author.

    • Stormi

I know, I am not sure how that happen…well I do…I was to busy cleaning to check out netgalley…lol. I think it was probably your blog where I seen Bob and put it on my wishlist then it went on sale so I snatched it up…lol.

I shall get to Northwoods some day I keep putting it off. I am so behind because I have been listening to more audios than reading…lol.

Thanks for the heads up Stormi – I just grabbed The Rememberers. I am pretty sure I have eyed it before and it’s still on sale this morning. I really need to spring clean, but time seems to be the factor. Hope to get a few odds and ends done this weekend. I feel like I spent all day yesterday doing laundry.

Sounds like you’ve made great progress on your weight loss. I started eating Greek yogurt for lunch and a hard boiled egg and oatmeal in the morning as a way to increase my protein intake.
