YAY! for you being back, BOOO! for me still having problems. I hope he fixes it today but I messaged him 9am yesterday and haven’t heard a thing. I also read on FB that other people on my server are having similar issues so at least it’s not just me.

I read this sentence “I would like to invite anyone who likes mysteries to join me” as “I would like to invite anyone who likes murders to join me” and was like WHAT! then I read it again. LOL I might need more coffee and a working blog lol

Have a great week, Stormi! Happy Reading! ox

That explains why I couldn’t visit last week! Glad it’s sorted out- and your mystery month sounds great! I would definitely check that out! The Vanishing Thief is good, I like that whole serie.

Love the image for GettingCozy with a Mystery.

    • Stormi

Glad to know The Vanishing Thief is good it looked like a great series so I wanted to give it a try. πŸ™‚

Isn’t that image great! Michelle of Because Reading/Limabean Designs did that for me. πŸ™‚

  3. Joann Downie

Great, I might work on a sign up post for my Getting Cozy with a Mystery. πŸ™‚ I hope you like the Chocolate Chip Murder, I have the Strawberry Cheesecake one to read soon. πŸ™‚

  4. Literary Feline

Written in Red is so worth it! I love that series. I’m trying not to buy any new books at the moment, but it’s hard, especially at such a good price. I am glad to see your blog is back up and working after the hack attack on the blog host. What a nightmare!

I hope you have a great week!

I try not to but when I see a deal I can’t help it….lol. I do know I need to read more of my own. πŸ™‚

I am glad to hear that TGATG is good. πŸ™‚ I haven’t gotten far but so far it’s not bad.

  5. Lola

I am glad to see your blogs are all up again, but I can’t imagine how horrible it must’ve been to not have your blgo for so long. I wouldn’t know what to do without my blog.

    Your mystery event sounds fun!

I also got Shards of Murder from netgalley. I read the first book in the series last year and am curious to see where the story goes now. The other cozy mysteries you got look good too! I hope you’ll have a great week!

I haven’t read the first book yet but I seen this one on the authors facebook and thought it sounded good and then realized once I looked it up that I have the first one but never reviewed it so I added it and now I need to get to the first one….so many books!!! πŸ™‚

  6. Barb(boxermommyreads)

You cannot read Written in Red fast enough. I’m in love with that series. In fact, Tor just sent me the newest installment, which comes out in March, for review. I really want a weather pony…preferably a sunny one as it is snowing right now here in W V. Glad your blog is up and running.

Never tried Mary Burton so I thought I would as I have seen her on a few blogs. πŸ™‚ I am glad to be back on here again too! πŸ™‚

  7. Deborah

I missed The Doll’s House by Arlidge. It didn’t make any difference to the fourth in the end but I’m certain I probably missed some key character arcs!

I see a few others in your lists there I like the look of Stormi!

I’m not sure I have any cozies on my agenda but would link up if I did any, or link to a summary or something? Sorry, that probably doesn’t help!

The fourth one isn’t offered here yet, so I want to get this one read so when it is I will be ready. πŸ™‚

My Getting Cozy with a Mystery is for all mystery fans. It doesn’t have to be just cozy mysteries. I just happen to be in a cozy mood right now…lol. But I am cohosting the Cloak and Dagger challenge and thought it might be nice to have a month that was concentrated on mysteries. πŸ™‚

  8. Lark @ The Bookwyrm's Hoard

I might read a few mysteries in February! I’ve got a few I’ll need to read, and some I want to if I can fit them in. As long as I can also count them for COYER, that is. πŸ˜‰

I’m sorry about your blog outage — how frustrating! But at least it’s back up and running now.

I use a spreadsheet for keeping track of review copies. As soon as I request one, I add it to the spreadsheet. I sort them by publication date. That way I can quickly see how many review copies I have coming up. So far, it’s helping me keep things more under control. (Not totally under control! But better.) I can email you the template if you like; it’s an Excel file.

Awesome, I will work up on a sign up post for my mystery month. πŸ™‚ I would also love to see your template for keeping track of your books. I am always looking for a good way to do that. Send it to booklady2007 @ gmail dot com.

  9. Kathy

Good to see you blog back up! I can imagine how frustrated that is. I’m always glitches with Go Daddy so I’m used to it now lol. Maybe when my contract ends I’ll try another host. I saw that you are reading The Game and the Governess. I just added it to my TBR because I’m reading the second book The Lie and the Lady. I received it in this months XOXpert package and I wish they had given us the first book. I’m enjoying this book and now I want to start at the beginning.

I also grabbed Written in Red since I’ve heard so many people talk about it. Plus it was a good deal lol.

I hope you have a great week!

Yeah, I got The Lie and the Lady to review and I have had this eARC of the first one for a while so thought now was a good time to get it done so I can read the second one. πŸ™‚

  10. Jessica @ a GREAT read

OOoh nice! You got a lot of reading done! I feel like I’m slacking lately. With my new job, I seem to only be able to squeeze in two completed reads a week. Better than nothing I suppose!

So can’t wait to read Sanctuary Bay! Loved the author duo’s first duology! This one sounds creepy and mysterious! Might try to make it a priority read next week if I can!

Hope you enjoy your books this week!

    Here’s my Monday Wrap-up

    Have a GREAT day!

It is very stressful when the blog is not working! I need to stop buying books but when I get good deals I can’t help it…lol. πŸ™‚
