September 4, 2016 Memes 25

BMR,OHMy (1)The Week in Review is where I combine Stacking the Shelves, The Sunday Post and It’s Monday! What are you reading? ย If you have never joined in on these meme’s you can check them out by clicking on the meme and it will take you to the host blog.

What a week! Classes are going well so far. Monday I got a call from Scholastic and they were needing some seasonal workers so I took that job as I needed something. So Tuesday I had to do a drug test, then Thursday was a refresher course and Friday was my first official day back to work there…I am happy to have a part-time job but goodness now I am so busy with the papers I have to write in English class (which are not that long but still I got to think of something to write…lol), and the online work in my Computer class, now work on the days I am not in school I am not sure when reading and blogging is going to happen. ๐Ÿ™‚

Now I have been blogging like a mad woman trying to blog ahead so that I don’t have to worry too much about my blog and I do have Kathy doing her reviews on here to so at least my blog won’t be empty. ๐Ÿ™‚ Just remember that if you comment and it takes me a bit to comment back that it’s cause I am a bit busy. I will try and comment when I can.

Other than that not much going on…lol. ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh any Longmire fans out there! I can’t wait for the 23rd!!

What you might have missed on my blog

Books I have added

Edelweiss

Beheld

I love Alex Flinn’s retellings so I couldn’t help but grab up this one. ๐Ÿ™‚

Audiobook from Tantor

20160903_133608

Book two in the David Raker series…eek I haven’t listened to book one yet! ๐Ÿ™‚

Freebies

Checkered Crimeย Foriegn Decietย Relative Maliceย southern bound

Overall, I think I did pretty good in not grabbing up to many books, but that is probably because I was too busy to look…lol.

Books read last week

murder most howl1ย Beyond Deadย Whoever fights monster
  • Murder Most Howl – This was another fun one in the Paws and Claws series and I enjoyed it.
  • Beyond Dead – I must say was the strangest cozy I think I have ever read but after you get your head wrappedย around the fact that the dead are still somewhat living in a weird afterlife setting it wasn’t to bad…lol.
  • Whoever Fights Monsters – I have always found it interesting to read about serial killers and criminals in general. I have read other books that this author has done with another profiler and enjoyed them. It was a bit more gruesome listening to it but just as fascinating.

Currently reading

jersey devilย Henry Hunterย fatal appraisal

What might be up next

mummy's little angelย brightwoodย Hearse and Garden

How was your week? What did you get?

I hope the part-time work fits in with your study and I’m really glad you’re enjoying your study and it’s going well.

Good luck with getting some posting done in advance. I keep thinking I’ll do the same, but have failed parlously so far!

I go into panic mode when I get too busy, so I am hoping I can figure out a routine. Yeah, for some reason always seem to need that money, like the school thinks they should get money for me taking classes…lol.

Yeah, it just got real busy this week after getting the job, now I need to find a routine. ๐Ÿ™‚

I like Alex Flinn a lot, she has a way with rearranging a bunch of fairytales and mushing them together. ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh, congrats on the job, and I hope you manage all of your many tasks.

I love Longmire, but I’m only on Season 2, albeit almost finished with it.

I hope to be ready when Season 5 arrives.

I hate that smug Branch Connally character…he wasn’t in the trailer. Hmm, no spoilers, though.

Enjoy your week…and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

Oh I love Longmire! Yeah Branch is a character that you just love to hate. ๐Ÿ™‚ Never wanted a month to end so quickly…why must they put it at the end of the month, ๐Ÿ™ ๐Ÿ™‚

I think with EW being like it is now, it might hinder my book grabbing which could be a good thing…lol. ๐Ÿ™‚

I have a feeling my audios are going to get read more than my other books right now as I can do things like cook, clean, surf the net for homework stuff, etc. At work if we are not busy on the phone we can read so I am praying for dead air…lol. ๐Ÿ™‚

My goodness you’re so busy right now… I’m impressed that you have managed to get ahead with the blogging. Something I haven’t managed to do! Have a great week and try not to work too hard.

You are quite the busy person. At least you won’t get bored. Beyond Dead sounds interesting. I may have to check it out. I hope to have The Jersey Devil started by the end of the week. I should finish Daemoniac today, then star The Reader. I think you’d like it a Lt. It comes out the 13th, but you can preorder it for .99 on Amazon right now.

Wow you’re busy now! I’ve only seen the first episode of Longmire but it was pretty good, I haven’t watched any more though as I was also binging other stuff, but I may go back. Murder Most Howl looks good (love those titles lol).

    Beheld has an awesome cover.

I have been thinking about grabbing Whoever Fights Monsters with my Audible credit. I love true crime stuff and am always looking for good books in that genre!!
    Have a good week!

Yikes, you’re busy! Blogging is definitely secondary to school but if you can get a routine going that should help all areas, and maybe let you keep your sanity. ๐Ÿ˜›

Lots of nice new shinies, happy reading!
