The Week In Review #52

September 5, 2015 Memes 25

BMR,OHMy (1)The Week in Review is where I combine Stacking the Shelves, The Sunday Post and It’s Monday! What are you reading? Β If you have never joined in on these meme’s you can check them out by clicking on the meme and it will take you to the host blog.

So I wasn’t sure if I was going back to Scholastic call center because they made us fill out apps through a temp agency and I didn’t get a call, then Scholastic called me a few days ago and said they could add some without going through temp agency. So I took my drug test, went to orientation and on Wed. I do a refresher course and then I guess it’s back to work. Not my favorite job but it’s something for now. πŸ™‚

So that is about all that’s been going on around here.

What you might have missed on my blog

Books I have added

Never,NeverΒ Dark Heart of Magic

The Wolfen

Bought Kindle Reads:

A Study in SilksΒ Bats and BonesΒ Thunder

They were all .99 so not to bad. πŸ™‚

So this is just a few of the freebies I got as I got to many to plaster them all here…lol.

Books read last week

The Foxglove killingsHanover HouseΒ wolf capture

Still having a hard time finding something I want to read. I have started plenty but just didn’t finish much. πŸ™

Currently reading

SharcanoΒ Knots and CrossesΒ tails

What might be up next

Dead HouseΒ The SufferingΒ My Highland SpyΒ The Wolfen

Have you joined Tsu yet? Come on over and friend me there:Β

So many freebies. Shiny! πŸ˜€ And congrats on your win/unsolicited review books, lol. It would be nice if a message was included when the send out books.

A drug test to work at the call center? Yeesh. Lousy, but it’s a job anyway.

Enjoy the long weekend, or are you working? And Happy reading!

Thanks, it’s a boring job but someone has to take the book club calls so kids can get their books…lol. πŸ™‚

I hope all my books are awesome when I read them! πŸ™‚

There is not much around here where I live so I take what I can get. My knees are really bad so it makes any standing for long period of time jobs a no go and not a lot of sit down ones, so it will do. (Secretly hoping to write that best seller while working this job…lol)

I guess it’s nice you do have a job, you can always see if you can find a better job later. I am so excited for dark Heart of magic, I have my copy pre-ordered, but I was still tempted to request a copy on netgalley as well. That’s interesting you got two books and can’t remember from where, maybe the blogger forgot to notify you to let you know you had won? I hope you’ll have a great week!

Yeah, it’s not a dream job but a job. Makes me want to work on getting the dream job though. πŸ™‚ I am hoping Dark Heart of Magic is better than the first one…I thought it was okay but some times for me the build up in the first books are a bit boring. πŸ™‚

I hope Never, Never is good I got the book then read a review that wasn’t so good…I was like..noooo. πŸ™‚

Does that mean Dead House is Scary…cause I need scary…I hardly find anything I read these days in the horror genre scary…so fingers crossed. πŸ™‚

Oh Stormi, so many new books!!! You’re going to be busy….

Good to hear you’ve got the gig with the call centre. I know what you mean about something not being your dream job, but making do. I can very much relate at the moment!
