BMR,OHMy (1)The Week in Review is where I combine Stacking the Shelves, The Sunday Post and It’s Monday! What are you reading? Β If you have never joined in on these meme’s you can check them out by clicking on the meme and it will take you to the host blog.

So last week you know I was stressed and worried about my dad. Well, Monday he wasn’t any better so we went to the ER and was there all day long. Something that could have went faster took forever cause they were really busy..ugh. They took some blood sample, chest x-ray, and cat-scan. Anyway, long story short he has pneumonia in his right lung. I was really surprised that they didn’t keep him, but all they did was pump him full of one IV full of an antibiotic and then gave him the same medicine to take at home. He is doing better but still not up to par, but at least I know it wasn’t something worse!

So other than taking care of dad I haven’t done a whole lot. This weekend is going to be HOT, so staying and reading. πŸ™‚

I hope I do to, I love his Harry Dresden books, so I couldn’t help but grab a new series and try it..lol.

What Alice Knew is about Jack the Ripper, so it’s a completely different Alice. πŸ™‚

Best wishes for your dad, hope he’s better soon. Hope you get lots of reading in- we were hot here earlier but it’s been mild now. Enjoy the reads!

Thanks, he is doing better. As long as he doesn’t over do it. Last three days have been high humidity..blah..suppose to get back to mild this week I hope. πŸ™‚

Yeah, but my taste runs your way as I like crime novels and suspense and so do you..lol. I have been finding lots of new authors from your blog. πŸ™‚

He has been feeling a bit better this week. πŸ™‚ I was so worried last week cause he verily did anything but sleep. So this is a bit improvement. πŸ™‚ I am liking The Veil, but not wowed by it like some reviews I have seen.

Thanks, I am glad it just wasn’t something worse that pneumonia. Been reading away while taking care of him. πŸ™‚

Yes, but I am glad it wasn’t something worse than pneumonia. So far I like The Veil but it’s not wowing me. πŸ™‚

Glad you got a diagnosis and Dad is a little better. They sent him home because he’d move more, which is important forgetting over pneumonia, and also so he wouldn’t get something worse. Hope his progress continues.

The narrator for The Veil is really good. She does really well with voices and I am enjoying it. Not wowed but it’s not bad. πŸ™‚

Oh, look at all those audio books! πŸ™‚

I’m not surprised they sent your dad home. The pneumonia has to be pretty severe to be admitted. I’ve been admitted and I’ve been sent home. I’m glad it’s just mild pneumonia but even a mild case can be a longish recovery. Best wishes to both of you!

I know, I got that package of audios and I was like….oooh maybe I need to tone my audio grabbing down..lol.

I am just glad we know what he has and can fix it. πŸ™‚

Thanks for stopping by! Dad is doing better if he can just get rid of the crude in his chest..that takes forever. πŸ™ πŸ™‚

Wow! I think you made up for my empty week! Now if I could just get about 2/3 of these that’d be great. Thorn Jack looks really good and I’m kicking myself I missed the sale! Oh well hopefully next time. I have the new one for review of the Mary Marks series. It looks really good and I’ll have to go check and see if the first one is still on sale. I’m sorry to hear your dad is still not quite 100% but at least now you have a diagnosis and a plan. I hate dealing with hospitals because so often there’s so much time just spent waiting for no reason. Drives me nuts! Have a great week!

I hope your Dad feels better soon and you get to relax. I’m jealous of all your audiobooks. I’ve been using Overdrive to borrow audiobooks from my library but the selection isn’t good. I hope you have a great week and enjoy your new books!!
