The Week in Review is where I combine Stacking the Shelves, The Sunday Post and It’s Monday! What are you reading? Β If you have never joined in on these meme’s you can check them out by clicking on the meme and it will take you to the host blog.
So it’s been a hot week but an interesting one.
So I started an ebay store. I am selling a little of this and that trying to basically sell things around my house I don’t need anymore. In my 20s I thought everything collectable and was a bit of a hoarder, 40s me is wondering what I was thinking and need to get rid of things…lol. Sold three things so far! Which is more than I thought I would for starting out…lol. Only bummer is they are holding my funds till June 30th to make sure I am not a scammer which I get but still it’s bummer…bad sellers make others get punished. π
So I will be spending my days photographing and listing in hopes of sells, so thank goodness for audiobooks!! π So I was super busy and didn’t get any reviews published, thank goodness Kathi did. π
Have a great week and happy reading!

Books I have added
Nothing!
Books read last week
- Murder in an Irish Churchyard – I liked this one so much more than the second book so I will continue on.
- Still Lifes With Crows – I loved it! The Pendergast series is so much fun!
- To The Devil, A Cryptid – This was fun and more like old school Shea!
- Beaches in Paradise – I really like this series. Only one more to go!
- Nightbooks – This was a fun one that was part 1001 Nights and Hansel and Gretel.
All were audiobooks except for Hunter Shea’s book.
Currently reading
- Onyeka and th e Academy of the Sun – This is okay so far, it’s basically your usual kid finds out she has powers and placed in special school.
- Neverseen – This is okay but really just not in the mood for it. Overall not liking the series as much as I hoped.
- Revenge for a Duchess – So far this one is a lot of fun!!!
- Jane Erye – Reread on Audio and loving it!
Three are print books and one audiobook. The print books take me longer to read!
What might be up next
Not really sure.
How was your week? What did you get?
Back when my son was little and really into Hotwheels, I started buying up extras and selling them on Ebay. It was a lot of fun and I made some decent money! Good luck with your storeπ
Things are a bit different since I sold on here years ago, so there is a learning curve and I really hate that they are holding my funds till the buyer says they received their things. I get it though bad sellers has everyone getting punished.
Oh that’s cool selling on Ebay! I’ve thought of doing that too, maybe unloading some old books, but haven’t yet. Good luck!
Beaches in PAradise looks fun!
It’s not bad but a bit of work. I recommend if your going to sell more than just a few things to open a store as you don’t have to pay fees upfront, only when you sell. π
My husband has sold a few things on eBay before. I have a friend who’s a veteran seller on eBay. I hope you’re able to sell everything you want and make some good money doing it. Good luck!
I’ve been debating about trying to start an eBay or Mercari account to sell a few books that I feel like are more worthy of sale than what I could get selling them to a used bookstore as they wouldn’t take signed or out of print to value. I was leaning towards Mercari or eBay, but still need to investigate the fees involved with eBay to help with the decision making. One site that is purely bookish takes 20% of sales, which I felt like was too much. I’ve a ways to go though before I even bother with that though, so for now I just try to figure out what I would want to sell. Lol.
Hope you enjoy your reads lined up for this week!
Here’s my Monday Wrap-up
Have a GREAT day!

Good luck with the ebay store! I know people who have made really decent money doing that. Frustrating about them holding the money but yeah – there’s always someone who messes it up for the rest of us. Have a great week!
