What you might have missed on my blog

I want to invite you all to this years Summer COYER event. It’s going to be a Scavenger Hunt and Berls, Michelle and I have been working really hard on getting everything ready. I think it’s going to be super fun so I hope you join in! Also if Scavenger Hunts are not your thing you can still just do regular COYER. ๐Ÿ™‚ Sign up starts on Saturday 16th, so it’s coming up soon!

Deception (Demon Hunter #2) by A. S. Frenichel -I really enjoyed the first one in this series so I can’t wait to read this one!

Thanks Kensington Books!

Edelweiss:

Mirroredย A Madness So Discreetย NewtsEmerald

Mirrored by Alex Flinn – I have read one of her books before and she does interesting retellings and it sounds really good!

A Madness So Discreet by Mindy McGinnis – YA thriller, something there is not enough books off so I had to check it out!

Newt’s Emerald by Garth Nix – Well this one just sounds strange. ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank Harperteen and Katherine Tegen Books!

Audiobooks to review:

Good Rake Hard Find

A Good Rake is Hard to Find by Manda Collins – Just looks like a great historical romance. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Okay so I think someone is telling me that I should start this series as I haven’t even read book one but Pocket book sent me a galley of the latest book in the series. ๐Ÿ™‚ I have the first book on my TBR list so maybe it needs to go up on the list to see what I think of it. It’s a long way to #13!! ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks Pocket Books!

Always a busy week around here on the blog, but Kathy does help in the reviews. ๐Ÿ™‚

I hope we both like Mirrored and Madness!

      Have a great week!

This is very embarrassing to admit but – though I joined Edelweiss – I’m yet to figure out how it works. It doesn’t seem to be as straight forward as Net Galley!

Yeah, it took me a bit more time to figure out..but once you log in go to where it says Review Copies up top and then you can browse them and if you like one request digital RC and they may or may not let you have it..you should get an email. Netgalley is a lot easier to navigate. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Stormi

I need to stay away from both places..but those darn emails lure me in each time…lol.

    • Stormi

No, that is not weird that is what made me look at the blurb to see if I would like it. ๐Ÿ™‚

COYER is always fun, glad to see it coming around again. And liked your review of Mystery Suite- that one sounds fun. Have a great weekend.

Yes, that cover does look awesome, it and the word Madness captured me. ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Kathy

You got so many great books! I just started using Edelweiss and so far I’ve been lucky. But I need to get caught up on my Netgalley ARCs first.

I can’t wait for the summer COYER!! A scavenger hunt is going to be fun!

    Have a great week Stormi!

Yeah, it’s easy to get wrapped up in them ARC’s but EW doesn’t seem to be as easy to get ARCs from as NG..so you have been lucky. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Stormi

I did get lots of books..I so need to watch myself as I got way to many and will never catch up! I do hope you join the HUNT! ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Stormi

I hope you do join COYER, it’s a lot of fun, especially our COYER facebook. ๐Ÿ™‚

I am so excited that Coyer sign-ups will be open soon! I can’t wait to find out what you have planned this year and what the scavenger hunt part exactly entails.
I really should catch up on Jennifer Estesp her Elemental Assassin series, it’s a great series. I think I read the first 5 or 6 books? I can’t believe they are at book 13 already!
