The Week in Review is where I combine Stacking the Shelves, The Sunday Post and It’s Monday! What are you reading? If you have never joined in on these meme’s you can check them out by clicking on the meme and it will take you to the host blog.
Not much happened this week. Did a bit more cleaning and organizing. I like that it’s spring time now but what I don’t like it the tornado’s that come with it! Thursday night into early Friday morning we had some real nasty storms and and tornado warnings that had me up early in the morning watching the news to make sure nothing was going to happen and listening to the hard rain and thunder and lightning. Trying to comfort my herd babies who are scared of storms cause they were in a tornado that ripped off our roof in 2008, so now they are storm scared. 🙁

Books I have added
Okay so I did so well last week and on the first first day of April I failed and got review books! Those netgalley emails get me every time. It’s like they suck me in..and I like crime novels so much I just couldn’t help it and the other was second in a series I am reading so well had to get, right? 😉
Netgalley:

First Reads (Penguin):

So this book sounded so cool that I made a major blunder! This book is fourth in a series, I thought it was second..so now it’s driving me crazy..lol.
Nook Freebies:

They were all free at B&N when I got them, sure they are probably free on amazon, but make sure first if you decide to grab any. 🙂
Kindle Freebie:

Kindle books bought:

I seen Nightshade reviewed on Caffeinated Book Review and just had to grab it. 🙂 The Yard is the first book to the above book I got from First Reads, I figured I need to at least get the first one.
From Publishers:

The Reluctant Midwife by Patricia Harman (HarperCollins)
The Cherry Harvest by Lucy Sanna (HarperCollins)
Going Against the Grain (Cookbook) by Nuccia Ardagna
Won:

Thanks Michelle from Because Reading!! 🙂

My goodness you are one busy blogger! Sheesh! How do you do it? I’m glad that the weather didn’t get too bad. We haven’t had any warnings yet, but I’m sure they’ll come. Hope you have a good week!

Stormi
Well, not all of the reviews are mine as I do have another reviewer on my blog. 🙂 So I am busy but not as busy..lol. 😉
Michelle@Because Reading
Tornados are no joke! Please stay safe my friend, that is so scary! Yesterday we had Topical Storm force winds. Lately I have noticed the weather getting worse must be just a change of some sort. Spring Storms are always bad but lets hope that means more flowers in May.
Just saying Netgalley and I find myself there, like right now just writing it I now want to go look 🙂 You didn’t do to bad on the requests. Enjoy them all!!!
Have a great week and don’t forget to check Trello everyone in a while. Will be putting up more stuff soon. Yay COYER 🙂
Have a great week Stormi! Happy Reading! HAPPY EASTER!!!
Stormi
We are having more storms this week..blah. I am telling you it’s those emails that drag me in..lol. I do good staying away from netgalley and then I get an email from my favorite genre! 🙂
Bea @Bea's Book Nook
Good book week! I got Teacher Beware a few weeks ago too. I hope no tornados come your way, eeep. I’ve also started cleaning and organizing, beginning with closets.
happy Easter!
Stormi
I hope we both enjoy Teacher Beware when we get to it. 🙂
Laurel-Rain Snow
What a busy week! And I am learning that the NetGalley e-mails are going to sink me, as I can’t turn away from a book I want!
Thanks for sharing…and for visiting my blog.
Stormi
Oh I now those emails are brutal on my trying not to grab anything, what is worse is when a publisher sends you a hey I seen you like this series on netgalley..here is the next one..with your own little download link!!! 🙂
Red Iza
Chained by night is excellent, I love that series ! Happy reading, have a great week away from any tornado 😉
Stormi
I still haven’t read the first one in this series but now that I have the second one I think I need to get on it..lol. 🙂

Ah, summer storms are not far away! I am not a fan of severe weather and my kitty-babies certainly pick up on that. Here’s to calm weather in the week to come.
Stormi
I hate thunderstorms! All my herd pups from little to big hate them. My outside one included so she thinks she must come in! UGH.
Lola
I am glad we don’t get any tornada’s here, they sound frightening. And your poor herd babes, I can understand why they are scared of storms. I hope they are feeling better now and you don’t get much more tornado’s. I am looking forward to your review of Cold Burn Magic! Hope you have a great week!
Stormi
I didn’t like Cold Burn of Magic as much as I hope too but it was okay.
MIchelle @ Book Briefs
A lot of these are new to me. I will have to check them out
I hope you enjoy 🙂 Happy Reading!

Shannon @ It Starts At Midnight
You certainly had a busy week! The storms must be so scary too. I am the same way with review books, there’s just no good way to avoid them pulling you in! Hope you enjoy them all and have a great week 🙂
Stormi
Yeah, it was kind of busy but I have some reviewing help so they are not all mine. 🙂 I know I try to stay away but those books just call my name. 🙂
Berls
Oh you are in the tornado zone aren’t you? Be careful! I live in the edge of tornado alley, but typically we don’t get hit too bad. Thank goodness! Enjoy your new reads, NetGalley is so tricky!
Stormi
Yep, in the T-zone and not liking it! So far we have been lucky, but lots of storms to come. 🙁
Lorna
I want to read Chained by Night cause I read the first one. I read that review on Night Shade as well-it looks really good too.
Tressa @ Wishful Endings
Undercover Bride was one I requested. It looks and sounds like I’d enjoy it. Wow! What a week you had! Thanks for stopping by!
RO
Glad you were able to calm down your babies so they were comfortable, and looks like you picked up some nice goodies. Hope your week is awesome! Hugs…
