What is up with the weather!! I thought it was spring there for a minute and now I think winter hit again as I am freezing!!! Low last night and tonight are in the mid 20’s!!! I think some places are still getting snow!!! Come on mother nature give us a break and let spring happen! :\

Other than that I don’t think I have much to ramble on about. 🙂
Happy reading!

What you might have missed on my blog

Books I have added

Netgalley

  • Puppy LoveA brand new series from debut author Lucy Gilmore, featuring service puppies who might just be matchmakers in the making… So I think I just needed a romance to through in the mix of all the mystery and horror and well come on look at that puppy!!! 🙂
  • The Stillwater GirlsTwo sisters raised in fear are about to find out why in a chilling novel of psychological suspense from the author of The Thinnest Air. I featured this on one of my Waiting on Wednesday post so when I seen it on Netgalley I clicked…lol.

Books from Bestie!!!

Barb sent me these and I can’t wait to give these a try!!

Books read last week

I think I read most of the books for this month last week…lol.

  • The Valley of the Sun – Had high hopes but it wasn’t one for me. 🙁
  • Killing November – A fast paced fun YA mystery that didn’t leave me with a huge  cliffhanger!
  • A Fatal Grace – I have been trying to listen to this one for a while now but keep having to let it go back to overdrive but  finally got it finished! 🙂 I enjoyed it and I am on the waiting list for the next one which could be a while as its a popular series.
  • One Potato, Two Potato, Dead – I am enjoying this series though it’s not my #1 favorite from this author. I really like Dom that cute loveable dog on the cover! 🙂

Currently reading

I needed nice fluffy reads after conquering those last week. 🙂

  • Thread Herring – So I really like this series and got behind and noticed that not only is a new one coming out in April but at the end of the year to so I figured I better get to catching up!
  • 16 Lighthouse Road – So this is a reread because I never finished this series and I really liked it. After watching some of the Cedar Cove episodes on Hallmark Now it has renewed my interest and so I figured it best to just start over.
  • Peter Pan – I am behind on my list of classics I wanted to read this year so I am glad this one is only 5 hours. 🙂

What might be up next

It was 75 degrees yesterday. I went out in shorts. I took the extra blankets off the bed and washed and stored them. Dear Husband mowed the enthusiastically growing lawn. But now it’s supposed to be back down to 26 degrees tonight . . . what the heck?!

    The Stillwater Girls sounds suspenseful!

We need to mow the lawn though I have to pick up all the junk that little stray has torn up in our yard first! 🙁

I didn’t get to finish it before it went back to overdrive but I will get it again! It’s narrated by Jim Dale who is awesome so I know it will be a fun one!

Yeah, it’s like you need to layer your close so half way through the day you can take one layer off…lol.

I hope we are having the last of the cool weather here but one never knows in Missouri…lol.

I thought of you when I got that puppy book. 🙂 Hope you enjoy Killing November when you get it!

Drat! I almost got away with not getting Thread on Arrival but I just couldn’t resist. I blame you! We had some of that seesawing weather but we seem to be stuck on the up side. I am not complaining despite all the allergies! Hope you’re having a great week!

    • Stormi

Oh you know you wanted it!!! Thread Herring was really good and interesting so now I can’t wait to get to Thread on Arrival and there is another coming out later this year!! The author is on a role! 🙂

Great to see all the pretty books! We seem to have stabilized on the weather front a bit. We have rain 1-2 days a week but it’s not all day. The temps are staying in the 50-70 range. I can handle that. Actually on Tuesday this week it rained and didn’t get out of the 30s but I’ll call that an aberration as it was 72 the next day (yesterday).

    Here is my Sunday Post

The rain is still making it feel really damp and cold which I don’t like, but we are getting some good weather and I hope it stays that way.
