The Week In Review #237

March 3, 2019 Memes 17

BMR,OHMy (1)The Week in Review is where I combine Stacking the Shelves, The Sunday Post and It’s Monday! What are you reading?  If you have never joined in on these meme’s you can check them out by clicking on the meme and it will take you to the host blog.

I am already tired of 2019 and ready for a do over! I have battled two different sicknesses and now I have some sort of invisible rash on my back. It feels like I have a bad sunburn but I haven’t been in the sun! I have had my dad look and he swears there is nothing there so no rash, nothing! It’s very uncomfortable to lay on and really hurts when I get a cold chill which is often as it’s COLD! 🙁 If it’s still bothering me and it doesn’t snow us in I am going to go to the doctor and see if they can figure it out. I am just tired of one thing after another. And they fact I can’t see anything wrong is even worse!

Weather wise it’s been cold and now we are suppose to have snow by this morning. I am still praying it goes away.

Got a little(big) stray puppy at the house and couldn’t in good conscience leave it out in the cold so I doubt I get much sleep tonight as the other dogs are not happy. One of the things I hate about living in the country as people seem to think we don’t mind them dumping their dogs on us! She is a really nice but hyper large puppy and I think whoever had her must have decided she was to big and hyper for them. I think she is probably about 5 months old and she has been inside cause she wanted in and jumped right on the couch. I called a shelter but they are full, but have to wait till Wednesday to talk to I guess someone higher up but I sent them a picture. I like the sweet  dog but not sure I have patience for a puppy anymore, she is driving me crazy! :|Left my phone downstairs or I would show you a picture. I will probably be sleeping on the couch keeping an eye on her tonight.

Well that is my week. How has yours been? Happy reading!

  • Black in White – This was an interesting start to a paranormal mystery romance series.

  1. Jessica @ a GREAT read

Aww. I hate when people dump their unwanted pets. I mean why did you get a dog in the first place if you don’t have the patience to raise it? It’s good of you to foster it for a bit. Hopefully the shelter will have an opening or something soon.

Sad to hear about your rash still. That’s so weird that they can’t see anything. Hopefully the doctor can help!

No new reads! I guess that’s good because the TBR pile won’t suffer! Hope you enjoy reading your books for this week!

I know me too and she seems like a real friendly puppy just really hyperactive! UGH

I have what is called prickly heat and it drives me nuts in the muggy summers hear. You can;t see it but it itches and burns. On my upper back and shoulder. I’ve learned to deal with it but not fun. I think it has something to do with my nerves as nothing is visible either. My chow died one week before I moved to my new home. It has a fenced in back yard and within a few months of living here I had two young dogs dumped over the fence. I ended up keeping both as I couldn’t find a no kill shelter and had to list them as foster dogs. Right! LOL

Yeah, I live down a lane so we get a lot of dogs, I am a sucker and will feed them and most eat and run, others like this one stay around…lol.

KEEP THE PUPPY! It really don’t take much just a little patience and she is probably just so happy to have food and warmth. I totally think you should keep her! 😉

I think we switched rolls on the book grabbing this year! lol

Have a great week, Stormi! Keep me posted on the puppy you will be keeping! Happy Reading! xx

She is going to eat me out of house and home! UGH! 🙂 I know she is hungry but goodness she eats more than the two big dogs combined! :\

I hope you figure out something with the puppy. Glad you took her in, even if only temporarily. I hope you start to feel better. I know how it feels. I know what’s wrong with me. I have Lupus and/or Sjogren’s Syndrome (very similar autoimmune diseases). We’re trying to figure out how to fix the systems, which can be frustrating (like my hair falling out last year and severe dry eyes). But at least I know what’s wrong with me. There’s nothing worse than not knowing.

I hope I figure out something too!I think I am to older for a puppy…ugh.

So, hope Scrappy has a better night (wink wink). I know you will do the best you can to find her a good home. I do hope you figure out the rash thing soon. I know it must be painful and irritating. I love the looks of Black and White. I might have to check that one out eventually.

    • Stormi

She seems to be doing okay but just so hyper!!! I am to old for a hyperactive puppy who eats more than the two big dogs combined! :\

  6. Greg

Aww hope the puppy thing works out! Kudos to you for taking care of him though. crewel and Unusual looks fun, and so does Black Hollow Lane.

Hope you don’t get too much snow. 🙂

    • Stormi
