The Week in Review is where I combine Stacking the Shelves, The Sunday Post and It’s Monday! What are you reading? Β If you have never joined in on these meme’s you can check them out by clicking on the meme and it will take you to the host blog.
Man is the weather crazy these days or what! It’s either really cold or in the 60! Good ole Phil didn’t see his shadow and I so hope that means an early spring! π For those freezing I feel for you and wish you some warmer weather!
This week was a sad week around here as I had to have one of my older dogs put down on Monday. π She has been sick for a while but she started having seizures after seizure and that was just a horrible way to go so we took her to the vet. I knew it was coming but it’s still be very sad around here. π π On top of still having a viral infection so blah. Lets hope that February is a much better month!!!

Still in kind of a reading funk but hoping February is going to be better!! Happy reading!

What might be up next

How was your week? What did you get?
Jessica @ a GREAT read
So sorry to hear about your puppy! That’s always the hardest thing to do. Our older dog has numbered days as well when we learned at his last annual visit that he has cancer. Though honestly you would never know it as he’s still his demanding and bossy self! Lol! We’re keeping him happy and comfortable for as long as we can!
Nice new read! That’s a new to me one! Hope you enjoy it and that your cold ends quickly!
Here’s my STS
Have a GREAT day!

Thanks, and sorry to hear about your dog. π

I’m so sorry about your dog. Anyone who’s ever had a four-legged pal understands. Hugs.
I can’t believe I did this, but I picked up When the Lights Go Out, an anthology of spooky stories by the Inkslingers. I enjoy novel length fiction so much more than short stories, but once in a blue moon I’ll read a short story. I’m pleased to say, I’m not regretting this anthology!:-)
Stormi
Thanks. I am not a huge short story reader myself but I like that title…lol.

I’m so sad about your puppy and you not feeling well still!
We need to get your reading mojo back because this is just getting weird!!!!
I hope this week is better for you, Stormi! Here is you need me, always! xx
PS maybe you can start reviewing the youtube videos you watch and recipes you make. π
Stormi
Thanks. I know it’s weird but I am finding watching people do meal prep or a full day of eating Keto more interesting than reading!!!WHAT?!?! π lol

I’m so sorry to hear about your dog. Even if it’s expected it’s still not easy. Even worse when you’re not feeling well. I’m sorry about the reading funk. Hopefully as you get to feeling better it’ll correct. Dead as a Door Knocker looks look! I’ve been in a cozy mood lately. Hope this week is better for you.
Stormi
Thanks, it’s never easy and it’s just weird around here without her.

I’m so sorry to hear about your dog, Stormi. Quigley is over 13 now and that’s a long life for a large dog. So far he is healthy and content. And I hope you feel better soon and get your reading mojo back.
Stormi
Hope your dog has a long long life!
Melanie Simmons
I’m so sorry for you loss. I’m glad she’s no longer in pain though. I’m sure she had a great life while she was with you. I hope you feel better soon. {{hugs}}
Stormi
Thanks!

Sorry to hear about the loss of your dog… It sucks no matter how old they are, whether you know it’s coming and it’s for the best. It doesn’t change that they’re gone and you’ll miss them. Sending you good thoughts.
Stormi
Thanks!

That’s such an adorable picture. I’m so sorry about your puppy. Yep, the weather is definitely crazy. I see you’re still reading Slayer. That’s one of my holds at the library I have to pick up this week. Wish me luck!
