The Week in Review is where I combine Stacking the Shelves, The Sunday Post and It’s Monday! What are you reading? If you have never joined in on these meme’s you can check them out by clicking on the meme and it will take you to the host blog.
So my class is finished and the only way I could figure out how to show off my last two projects was to unlist them on youtube so I could show them to you without them actually being where everyone can view them…lol.
My fire prevention commercial on an a tv so it looks like a commercial…lol. 🙂
My wood montage which is a bit goofy and dad thinks he is a star now…lol. I had to make up some of my own sound effects which makes it even funnier…I am sure you will know when that happens…lol.
Other things that happened this week, ball joints are bad on the truck. I almost thought I wasn’t going to get to my last class as they were working on them, but all is well. It’s bad only having one vehicle when things like that happens but we survived. 🙂
Other than that not a lot going on. We had some warm days, cold days and back to warmer days. I much prefer them! 🙂
Have a great week and happy reading!

Books I have added
Netgalley
- the Cold is in Her Bones – I totally forgot about requesting this till I got approved! It’s a Medusa type retelling which I don’t think I have seen done a lot so I am curious.
Books read last week
- Tangled Up In Tinsel – Another fun one in the Kenni Lowry series! This time it’s Christmas time and Kenni wants to go to Chicago with Finn but her mother is throwing a fit, there is a record breaking blizzard coming their way and murder.
- Botched 4 Murder – This series always cracks me up! Another fun one and Phee’s mother and her retirement friends are a hoot!
- Back Stabbers – I have done great this week with series I enjoy and them all being great! I love the retro 70’s setting so much!
Three cozy mystery series where I am actually all caught up till the next one comes out, it’s a Christmas miracle…lol. 🙂
Currently reading
- Camouflage – Finally getting back to this one as I really need to finish it.
- The Spook in the Stacks – Listening to this one. So excited that this series got picked back up by a publisher!
What might be up next
- Night Shift – I keep pushing this one back but I really want to read it!
- An Anonymous Girl – I need to get started on some 2019 books!
- Murder by the Book – It won the toss…lol. 🙂
How was your week? What did you get?
Love the videos! Especially the sound effects haha!!! Seriously though- good job!
Anonymous Girl and Backstabbers I really need to get.
Your dad IS a star now!
I like 70s settings, too. Actually, I like any setting as long as the plot and characters are awesome.
I liked both of your videos. The sound affects were fun! LOL
Oh wow, those videos are fun! Congrats😁
You can let me know how snaky the medusa retelling is. I’m very interested in it but you know me and snakes!
Yay for class being successfully completed. You read a bunch of good books and more up next. Have a good week. Anne – Books of My Heart
The videos are great! Your dad is a star and the sound effects are great 🙂 Glad you were able to get the truck fixed and make it to class in time. Have a great week and enjoy your new book!
