May 13, 2018 Memes 18

BMR,OHMy (1)The Week in Review is where I combine Stacking the Shelves, The Sunday Post and It’s Monday! What are you reading? ย If you have never joined in on these meme’s you can check them out by clicking on the meme and it will take you to the host blog.

On my last week of school then it’s the summer off and I have got to find me a job of some kind. Anyone know someone who needs some graphics done?? ๐Ÿ™‚ Next class will be animation starting in August, so I need to get a summer job and I am kind of bummed because there was this great internship near me but I haven’t had indesign yet and you had to have knowledge of that. ๐Ÿ™ There is a sewing job looking for help so I might see about that for the summer but it’s from 7:30 to 5 so when school starts I would have to quit as my class starts at 2pm. I really don’t want to go back into fast food but if all else fails at least I know how to do that. ๐Ÿ™‚ Blah.

Next week I will show you my last project which was making a small portfolio of my work and doing it in a unique way, I went with bookmarks. ๐Ÿ™‚

On the weather front, I think we skipped spring and went right into summer! ๐Ÿ™‚ I am not complaining yet…lol.

Have a great week and happy reading!

What you might have missed on my blog

Books I have added

Netgalley

  • Girl with a Gun – Okay so how could I pass up a historical mystery featuring Annie Oakley! ๐Ÿ™‚ I also blame this grab on Barb since I seen it on her blog last week…lol.

Audiobooks for review

ย
  • Pane and Suffering – I have this whole series to review in ebook form and I haven’t gotten to it…my bad…so I thought why not grab the audio version I will probably get to it sooner. ๐Ÿ™‚
  • An Invitation To Murder – This is book one in the Lady Katherine Regency Matchmaker and it sounds like an interesting mystery series.

Books read last week

ย ย ย
  • The Grave Diggers Union – This was different…lol. Good enough that I would like to see what else will happen. They do their best to protect everyone from the undead, but something sinister is happening.
  • Watching the Detectives – One of my favorite series and it was so much fun getting back into this 70’s setting!
  • DT: Beauty and the Beast – This was a decent graphic novel but it needed more dark to the Dark Tales as it really was just the story with a demon in it and he was only at the end.
  • Meg – I really liked this one! I actually liked this story more than Jaws! ๐Ÿ™‚ Can’t wait to go see the movie! Both Barb and I were surprised to find out that this was a series and there are five books, so we got more to read! ๐Ÿ™‚

Yep, they all look pretty good. The graphic novel Cthulhu is my first time with that creature though I have heard of it often.

Haha, I hear you on not being able to make up your mind on your reading choices. I was working on 5 or 6 a week ago and surprisingly didn’t confuse them all too much. Have a great week of reading and best of luck with the job hunt for the summer.

Yes that Girl with a Gun looks great. I don’t read much historical but it sounds good. I love the way your blog is orginized – very clear and easy to read. Such a great theme too! Enjoy all those books. If I felt I could add to my TBR I’d be looking up more of them on Goodreads and then checking to see if they were at my libraries etc. I have many books on my list already right now tho. or always.
