Week ReviewThe Week in Review is where I combine Stacking the Shelves, The Sunday Post and It’s Monday! What are you reading?  If you have never joined in on these meme’s you can check them out by clicking on the meme and it will take you to the host blog.

So this week has been relaxing as I didn’t really do much of anything. I did have a lot of blog post going and trying to get things ready for the new year for my blog. I do hope that everyone had a great New Years Eve and Day. I didn’t do anything but read, play video games and get on my computer. (Sometimes it’s great being single, other times not so much..this one of one of those great times..lol)

Debut Author Reading Challenge

There was a few other things but at this point I just got tired of listing them..lol. I didn’t realize there was that much going on this week!!

Books I have added

No Netgalley or Edelweiss!!! 🙂

Bought Kindle:

Sea of Shadows These Broken Stars Red Rising

I am not sure if I will like these three but they were on sale and I know they are talked about a lot and so I couldn’t pass up getting them so cheap!!

Kindle Freebies:

Pawn1 Until Midnight

Audiobooks:

Grave Sight Magic Bites

It was a two for one credit deal and I couldn’t pass that up! 🙂

From Publisher:

consumed shadowed

So I was a bit lazy and didn’t take a picture of everything, it came with some notepads, nail polish, mints, and bookmarks. It’s part of Kensington’s new Lyrical High Notes, which is select ebooks being turned into print.

Now I would like to know if anyone has ever read this series and if it can be read out of order or not? Cause this is like book four and book six. 🙁

Books read last week

whisperdead The Falconer

Currently reading

Until Midnight deadsexydragon

What might be up next

touredtodeath Roguereturns Lord Rakehells Love

So what has going on on your blog? Any good reads you have picked up lately?

  1. A Voracious Reader

I’ve been reading The Dark Protectors in order because I have a hard time reading a series out of order. It drives me insane. But, thinking about it objectively…I can’t. If you’re like me it’ll probably bug the crap out of you. lol I enjoyed Dead Sexy Dragon and I’ve had Red Rising forever. I need to get to it. Have a wonderful week!

I am like you and it drives me crazy to read out of order and that is what I figured so now I need to grab the first one. 🙂 Dead Sexy Dragon was okay. 🙂 I have a lot of bloggy friend who keep telling me I must read Red Rising so since it was on sale I grabbed it. 🙂

    • Stormi

Yeah me..I am sure that won’t last long! 🙂 Though it is on my bookish resolutions so hopefully I will be a good girl. 🙂

Steph, it felt really good not downloading this week but I am sure it won’t last..but I am trying really hard to cut down as a part of my bookish resolution. 🙂

  2. Michelle@Because Reading

OH NO! you did not finish The Boy Who Drew Monsters! I have that on my reading assignment. Might leave that till the end of the year.

Alone? I don’t know what that is but I does sound nice 😉

You were just as bad as me with the book getting lol we are so awesome!!!

    Have a great week, Stormi!

    • Stormi

Yeah, it just totally wasn’t what I thought it would be and it was super boring for me but you might like it!

Yep we were bad but at least I stayed out of netgalley and edelweiss..lol. 😉

  3. Trish @ Between My Lines

I really want to buy Red Rising while it’s $1.99 but I have already broken my book ban for a must have book so I’m trying to hold back on this one! So hard to resist those $1.99 deals though!
Glad you made the most of your time over Christmas, sounds like fun to me!

  4. Bea @Bea's Book Nook

I didn’t love Sea of Shadows but I give Kelley credit for trying something new. The second book comes out this spring. Dead Sexy Dragon is hiding somewhere on my Kindle, I really should read it. 😀

    Happy new year!

  5. Berls @ Fantasy is More Fun

Before I forget you can actually auto list your blog posts since you have UBB. Message me and I’ll tell you how 🙂 I’m too lazy to do it manually!

Yeah, sometimes having a BF can get in the way of doing what you want to do – like when he gets you drunk while you’re trying to blog! Great grabs this week – I loved Magic Bites, hope you enjoy it!

  6. Cyn @ Book Munchies

A slow week is always nice (:
Great haul, These Broken Stars is amazing! And yay Sabrina Jeffries, love her. Oh I haven’t read Magic Bites yet, but I love Ilona Andrews! Hope you enjoy it!

That sound like a great way to ring in the New Year! Ours was pretty relaxing too, and I’m glad we didn’t do much.
