I can’t believe that it’s Christmas eve and tomorrow is the big day. Merry Christmas everyone!!!!!! Hope everyone has a great day and has a great time with family and friends. I am going to my Aunts today after church for our family get together then on Christmas day Dad and I are going to meet up with some friends at a nearby Denny’s for Christmas lunch. ๐Ÿ™‚

Winter has finally hit southwest Mo. as it SNOWED!!!! ๐Ÿ™ It also looks like the weather for a while is going to be in the 30’s for highs and 20 to teens for lows. Is it springtime yet??? I am so ready for spring.

That is Dresden playing in the snow, she doesn’t get to play in snow much and I hope she doesn’t get to play in much this year!

Santa Pawsย

Thanks Santa Paws!!!

Books read last week

ย ย

  • A Babysitter’s Guide to Monster Hunting – This was a fun adventure where a young girl finds out there is more to babysitting than she thought when a monster steals the child she was watching.
  • Death Below Stairs – I enjoyed this historical mystery, you can tell this author writes historical romances and she did well with the mystery genre too. ๐Ÿ™‚
  • Carbs and Cadavers – First in a series and I really liked it. It was interesting having it set around a group trying to lose weight and their ups and downs as well as solving a murder.

Currently reading

  • Fury of the Orcas – Just starting this one and I am glad it’s a bit short since Barb and I are doing a buddy review on Thursday!! Kind of got behind…lol.
  • Grave Errors – I am almost done with this one and I like it. It’s one of my favorite series! ๐Ÿ™‚

What might be up next

What I have been watching

I have been meaning to watch When Calls the Heart after I watched the first season then I forgot about it well it’s starting it’s fifth season on Hallmark and after watching all the commercials for the Christmas episode coming up I got caught up in it again. Started over and have watched the first season and getting ready for the second season. I have falling down the rabbit hole…lol.

Caught up on Riverdale but still not sure I care for this season though the next episode looks kind of strange and I am curious.

  1. Awe, Dresden is adorable!!!! My husband is wishing spring would get here soon too. Lol… We have snow coming tonight, we just might have a white Christmas. It’s been a few years now. Merry Christmas. Enjoy your holiday with family. ๐ŸŽ„{Hugs}๐ŸŽ„

  2. Merry Christmas! You guys did get some snow- wow. Hope you have an awesome holiday.

I watched another Longmire this week and I’m starting to like that show.

I am loving Riverdale this season although I have to say it’s gotten very dark and kinda out there. Maybe too much?

  3. Merry Christmas Stormi! I hope you had a fabulous time at your Aunt’s place ๐Ÿ™‚

Secret Santas are the best ๐Ÿ˜€ I love trying to figure out who sent my presents.

I hope the snow won’t last, as I know you’re not a fan.

Have a wonderful week and happy reading.

  4. I hope you had a great holiday. It is cold here in Ohio too. We had snow before Christmas and it has stuck around. It was -2 when I left my house this morning. That really made for a cold walk into the office this morning (I park about 10 minutes from the office).

  5. You can keep the snow up there. I’m not a fan! I loved Grave Errors and agree that it’s one of my favorites too. I have Death Below Stairs coming up. I thought the author’s name sounded familiar so it must be from historical romances. Hope you had a very Merry Christmas, Stormi.
