BMR,OHMy (1)The Week in Review is where I combine Stacking the Shelves, The Sunday Post and It’s Monday! What are you reading?  If you have never joined in on these meme’s you can check them out by clicking on the meme and it will take you to the host blog.

So my class is about over as next week is it. I have finished my very first ever animation and it was fun but I can’t imagine how much work goes into something way more elaborate than my little 3 second animation. 🙂 Here it is for you to see, its my unique interpretation of mind blown using a little spaceship getting excited over seeing a bunch of presents and so the electric line goes back and forth for the mind blown part…lol. My teacher thought it was cute. Still working on it a little so maybe I will get brave and show it off next Sunday. 🙂

I think winter is here with the temps dipping down in the 20’s and even teens at night! One day was only 35 for the high and I froze. I am so ready for spring. I know a lot of people are seeing snow and I don’t want it so ya’ll can keep it or send it to California were those nasty fires are.

Happy reading!

What you might have missed on my blog

Books I have added

Netgalley

  • Bad Girls – There’s no place like home for a homicide. Midwest restaurateur Sydney Richardson finds herself chasing a prodigal daughter’s secrets in this twisty thriller.
  • The Cat of Baskervilles – The show is coming to town on Cape Cod. The West London Theater Festival is putting on a stage production of The Hound of the Baskervilles. Sir Nigel Bellingham, the famous star cast as the lead of Sherlock, goes missing. And Gemma finds him at the bottom of the cliff. Dead.

Audiobooks for review

  • Purrfect Revenge – Blorange tabby Max and ragamuffin Dooley are on the case again. This time a world-famous reality star has been found murdered in her own bed, and it looks like the crime just might be terror-related.
  • The Black Cat Knocks on Wood – The author of Black Cat Crossing is back as mystery novelist Sabrina Tate and her cat Hitchcock find themselves roped into another dangerous murder case…

Kindle First

  • Only the Rain – When family man and war veteran Russell loses his job as a quarry worker, his life suddenly seems more like a waking nightmare than a chance to finally live the American dream.

Got this one for free while trying prime for Students I am doing a free trial. Since I am taking college classes thought might as well try this…lol. 🙂

Books read last week

  • Thread the Halls – Yes, I am caught up on a series! This was a bit different than the other ones in this series but it was still pretty good. 🙂
  • Death by Tea – I really liked the first book but the MC really drove me crazy in this one so didn’t enjoy this one as much but it still had a good mystery.

What might be up next

What I watched

I finally made myself watch the last season of Longmire and I really liked it. I know some might not have liked the ending but it didn’t surprise me any as I have read a few of the books. I am just really sad it’s over!!! I didn’t ever want it to end!!!! 🙁 🙁  Got caught up on Riverdale and I am just not sure I really care much for this season but I really have to find out who the Black Mask is so I keep going.

  1. We have snow, too, and it looks so nice out there! And it isn’t too cold, so I’m fine with it. I just hope the roads will be clear tomorrow morning when I drive to work 🙂
You have a very nice haul of books this week, Stormi. I hope you’ll enjoy them all.
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading xoxo

  2. I loved Longmire. I haven’t read any of the books, but Sophia just reviewed the first audiobook, which makes me want to try it. Have you tried Frontier? I loved that show and you get to see Jason Momoa. I’m excited for Black Mirror Season 4. I’m hoping that DH and I can start Broadchurch Season 3 soon. Have a great week.

    • Stormi

I tried a few episodes of Frontier, it’s kind of bloody and dark, but I need to get back to it. 🙂 I need to watch Broadchurch as well.

  3. We got lots of snow, well not a lot but enough to make everything all pretty.
The weather is super cold here, you would hate it. 😉

You better so off that animation! I think it was awesome! You need to send me the final so I can see it. 🙂

Have a great week, Stormi! Happy Reading! ox

Yep, I would not like that one bit. I will show you my animation after today’s class as it’s my last class time to work on it.

  4. The white stuff visited here this weekend too, Stormi. It was rainy and cold all week and finally turned to snow Friday night. I’d love to see your short animation clip!

  5. Riverdale’s kinda crazy with how dark it’s getting, and while I’m liking it I know not everyone is. I am curious about the Black Hood. And it got cold here too! Man along with the snow- yikes. Sounds like you got as cold as we did!

Glad your animation worked out well!

  6. Congratulations on your animation – I know just how much work goes into it, given the boy I tutor is seriously interested in animations. Urgh – snow! A lot of folks here in the UK are being zapped, but fortunately we are clear – I HATE it… So best of luck. Have a great week:)
