BMR,OHMy (1)The Week in Review is where I combine Stacking the Shelves, The Sunday Post and It’s Monday! What are you reading? ย If you have never joined in on these meme’s you can check them out by clicking on the meme and it will take you to the host blog.

Not a lot going on this week, just the usual. We are working with shapes trying to make our icons or what will eventually be icons and I am not really a fan of shape building. He said it’s not the only method we have to use, thank goodness. ๐Ÿ™‚ I had pictures but my phone camera was not cooperating with my computer. ๐Ÿ™

The weather he is so strange that I am worried about what next month might hold in store for us. It was pretty decent this week a couple of days was pretty cold then it got really warm, as in 70’s warm. March can be a bit of a bear here in southwest Mo. as we have gotten a foot of snow on the first day of spring before…lol. I feel like the weather is going to let us think it’s going to be nice and then bam.

I did get some reading done this week, especially my audios as I worked a bit in my garden beds. Trying to get as many weeds out as I can and add more compost to them which is a workout cause I have to shovel the compost into buckets then put them on my wagon and walk it over to my beds, it takes about eight buckets to fill one bed back up…ugh. Trying to get a head start so I can put some extra fertilizer, calcium, and magnesium in my garden. ๐Ÿ™‚

What you might have missed on my blog

Books I have added

I got some books in this week that I requested and then forgot about…lol. I do that all the time. Plus Harper Collins came out with some and before I knew it my telling myself not to get a lot of books went right out the window…lol.

ย ย ย ย

  • Got a hankering for some graphic novels…lol.
  • Girl in Disguise – Female Pinkerton detective. ๐Ÿ™‚ This one snuck in on me as I think I remember asking for it but don’t remember being told it was in my NG. ๐Ÿ™‚
  • House of Furies – YA horror that sounds pretty interesting.
  • Supernormal Sleuthing – MG mystery involving monsters!
  • Monsters Unleashed – MG book with MONSTERS…lol. I like monster books ๐Ÿ™‚

Audiobook from Narrator:

  • My Lord the Spy – Narrator sent it to me to listen to and review. I like historical romances. ๐Ÿ™‚

Audibleย Bought

  • A Cold Day For Murder – Sounded good and it was a daily deal one day so it didn’t cost much. ๐Ÿ™‚

I got way more freebies than I felt like listing today. ๐Ÿ™‚

Books read last week

ย ย ย

  • A Perilous Undertaking – Such a fun series, if you love historical mysteries it’s a must read!

  1. Weather has been weird here. It was Ice Rain/Snowing a few minutes ago and Wednesday was 60 and Thursday we had 8 inches of snow. I might be done with NJ weather. Scot keeps asking when we are moving to Florida. ๐Ÿ™‚

I am jealous of your garden, I can’t get out until the weather stops acting so weird plus I am worried I wont have anyone to water it over the summer when we are away. Florida might be looking better, I even found a house lol

Have a great week, Stormi! Happy Reading…all those book you got when you know you already have enough! ๐Ÿ˜‰ ox

    • Stormi

You move to Florida and I might camp out on your floor during the winter…lol. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I know *hangs head* I really didn’t mean to get so many books!!! ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Stormi

Thanks, I do too. I did a lot of canning last year which has really helped this winter so I am hoping to do even more this coming summer. ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. I keep waiting for the shoe to drop on the weather too. I mean it’s been mild here for Michigan. Will March suck? Sounds like you have the garden under control- the early stuff anyway. ๐Ÿ™‚

Wonder Woman looks good, and so does A Cold Day for Murder.

  3. I like Dana Stabenow and hope you enjoy the audible mystery! You definitely made up for me not getting any books with your haul this week! The one about the Pinkerton detective caught my interest but I resisted. I’m looking forward to your thoughts on it. The weather has been kind of crazy here too. I don’t mind it being not too cold but I worry that this summer will be really buggy without a good freeze. Good luck with the icon making! Have a great week!

  4. I want to read The Devil Crept In. It sounds thrilling. Yeah, the weather is spring like here too. I know we’ll probably get a couple of brief cold fronts blowing through so not putting away the winter gear even though the AC is running right now. LOL
Thanks for steering me to Tantor, Stormi. I’m listening to some fabulous books!

  5. I’m hoping to get to my first audiobook of the year this week Stormi, but haven’t got the info back from the publisher as yet….

Fingers crossed re the weather for you!

  6. That middle grade monster book looks awesome. I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on Girl in Disguise. It was one I featured on Waiting on Wednesday earlier this year. That’s great that you got a start on your weeding. And yes, our weather here is nuts as well. I keep reminding myself if we do have a rough March, we still got off easy but I know as soon as it happens, I’ll gripe about it anyways!

  7. I’m impressed that you are out in the garden, working away. We are still closeted indoors, although I should go out and check to see if my primroses are in bloom at the top of the garden – I know my witch hazel is in full flower right now… Have a great week.
