BMR,OHMy (1)The Week in Review is where I combine Stacking the Shelves, The Sunday Post and It’s Monday! What are you reading? ย If you have never joined in on these meme’s you can check them out by clicking on the meme and it will take you to the host blog.

Besides an explosive election, this week has been pretty boring. Been working on my research paper and trying to do a bit of reading. I got one book done for the HoHoHoRat and my other book I wanted to read, well I did that stupid thing of forgetting do download it and it was archived already so I can’t read it. ๐Ÿ™ I am saddened. So it went on my amazon wishlist. I actually have a cozy mystery that I need to read for a blog tour so it’s probably just the one for the read-a-thon but that is better than nothing. ๐Ÿ™‚

Kind of cold this week but not too ย bad for November. I wouldn’t mind keeping it this way. Next week we are ย going to have some days in the mid 70’s, I love it! ๐Ÿ™‚

Don’t forget that winter COYER sign up is coming this Thursday the 17th!

What you might have missed on my blog

Books I have added

I am not sure how it happened but I got no Netgalley or Edelweiss this past week! ๐Ÿ™‚

I didn’t buy any books either! What is wrong with me…lol.

I did get a couple ofย freebies though. ๐Ÿ™‚

spirit-of-murderย turn-and-burn

Audiobook from author.

I really enjoy this missing person cozy mystery series.

Couple audios from Tantor came in.

habitย spiders-web

Couple of mysteries.

Books read last week

deadly-dog-daysย twelve-days-of-christmasย Deep Endย second gravedc-supergirls

  • Deadly Dog Day – Murder, house full of chaotic dogs, and interesting characters. ๐Ÿ™‚
  • Twelve Days of Christmas – Just like Debbie Macomers other Christmas stories, it was sweet and had some laughs.
  • The Deep End -I liked this retro type cozy mystery. It’s my first one where it’s set in the 70’s.
  • Second Grave on the Left – Charlie cracks me up! I will have to get the third one soon. ๐Ÿ™‚
  • DC Superhero Girls – Not sure what this was supposed to be, I thought it was a graphic novel but all it did was list the superheroes and their strengths and then had a lot of graphic art pages but no story, it was just art. It was cool art but kind of disappointed and wondering if I am missing something.

Currently reading

cat-got-your-diamondsย Krampusย breach-of-crust

  • Cat Got Your Diamonds – I haven’t gotten very far but it sounds like it will be a good one.
  • The Krampus Chronicles – Trying to fit in another for HoHoHoRat but might not make it.
  • Breach of Crust – The Last in my favorite series, The Charmed Pie Shoppe Mysteries, it was purged from Berkley and the author decided not to shop it around like she is some of her other series. ๐Ÿ™

What might be up next

Moon Chosenย dead-girls-societyย chasing-the-dead

I must be rubbing off on you…well not this week.

    Good luck with your paper.

I read 3 for Hohoho…working on the third now but I picked two short ones.

It’s been chilly here the last 2 days, might not get any warmer next week. I think the highest we get is 63. I love this weather ๐Ÿ™‚

Have a great week, Stormi! Happy Reading! oxoxo

  2. I’ve seen Moon Chosen around recently. Was in Walmarts and just happened to be in their book alcove. Right! LOL I spotted it and grabbed it. Been warm here, Stormi. A bit cooler today so I raked leaves off the porch and put up the garden hose. Looks like we have another warm week coming up so I’ll be working in my gardens, cutting back and mulching for the winter.

  3. Ohh, I’ve seen Moon Chosen around and it intrigues me. I can’t wait to see some reviews.

And that’s a whole lot of reading and blogging you’ve done there! Awesome. ๐Ÿ™‚

Hope you have a good week this week, perhaps a little less explosive…

  4. Oh I hate when I forget to download a book and it gets archived ๐Ÿ™ bummer! At least you got in the one book. And you’ve managed to read quite a lot this week, despite your research paper. I forget, are you listening or ready Charley? Loreli King’s narration is FANTASTIC for that series. Just saying ๐Ÿ™‚ have a good week!

  5. I’ve had that happen before with NetGalley Stormi.. I’ve not downloaded something until closer to publication date and when I went to download found it’d been archived. It still sat there waiting for my feedback though so I had to leave a message saying I hadn’t read it and missed out!!!!

  6. I think the 70’s are pretty much done here, although we have had some sunny and relatively warm days. Kinda nice- it’s been a decent fall. Hope your HoHoHo RAT keeps going well- I’m doing terrible ha ha. Oh well… ๐Ÿ™‚

I like The Deep End series too. And if you read dead Girls Society before me I’m anxious to see what you think. I might not get to it for a few weeks yet…

  7. I read that Krampus book last year. It was pretty good. I plan on reading the one by Brom next month. I’m about 100 pages into Moon Chosen. Can’t decide if I like it or not yet. Guess I have another 500+ pages to figure it out.

  8. The weather goes up and down here, but it seems to be more warmer than anything else for November. That’s just fine by me ๐Ÿ™‚

I loved the Deep End. I have to get back to reading that series. I read the first two which I enjoyed very much.

Hope you have a great week!
