Cara and Aelyx only have one day to spend together before he returns to earth and she travels to Aelyx's home planet, L'eihr. Homesick and worried about the upcoming year apart, Cara is desperate to make these final hours count. Worst of all, Cara is missing Christmas, stuck on board an alien spaceship. When Aelyx learns that Cara is forgoing her favorite holiday, he tries to recreate Christmas in space by researching traditional earth customs…but a few things get lost in translation.

First Line

Even in deep space, Cara had a curfew.

It sucks having a big brother on the ship with her..lol.

What I thought of this book

Until Midnight is a cute short story that starts at the end of Alienated but before Invaded happens. Aelyx is getting ready to go back to earth and he won’t see Cara for a while. He wants to make Their last night on the spaceship special and since it’s close to Christmas he tries to prepare a Christmas surprise for her even though he has no clue about the Holiday.

He makes a bunch of mistakes but Cara thinks it’s great because it really is the thought that counts.

“If I remember correctly,” he said. “Satan won’t come until you’re asleep.”

“Satan?” Cara burst out laughing. “Thanks for the warning. I’ll keep my eyes wide open so as not to summon the devil.”

Poor guy got his characters mess up there a bit..lol.

If your a fan of Alienated then you will enjoy this sort but sweet story centered around the Holidays.
