BEWARE THE HARE!Is he or isn't he a vampire?
Before it's too late, Harold the dog and Chester the cat must find out the truth about the newest pet in the Monroe household -- a suspicious-looking bunny with unusual habits...and fangs!
I shall never forget the first time I laid these now tired eyes on our visitor.
What I thought of this book
This one one of the books I remember reading from my childhood so when I seen it available where I work I just had to grab it.
Bunnicula is told from the Dog of the houses, Harold’s point of view. He reaccounts the day their new addition came to the house and the crazy things the cat Chester did trying to prove the bunny was a vampire. Nobody would heed Chesters words and all it did was end up getting Chester in trouble.
Chester tried to explain to Harold but all he saw was a cute fuzzy bunny who slept all day. There was the mysterious white veggies because that is but vampire bunnies do they drain veggies of their juice.
It was a fun read that I think any child who likes books about animals and great for a Halloween read. There are several Bunnicula books and I hope to get my hands on some more some day.
I have decided that Bunnicula needs to be shared with someone so I am going to giveaway a print copy of it to one lucky winner, so just enter my giveaway below. Trying out a new giveaway thing that I found called gleam, so I hope it works…lol.
