What I thought of this book

What an exciting conclusion to The Martian Girl series! Aoléon, Gilbert, Bizwat, Helios and Zoot are on their way to rescue Aoléon family. They have fought off all sorts of bots, survived a spaceship crash, walked a lot of miles to finally find the Great Pyramid of Cydonia where they find the Xiocrom.

It’s a good thing Gilbert played a lot of duck hunt on earth cause he is going to need those mad skills to shoot his alien gun at the bots! The Xiocrom is not what they thought it was going to be and the reason they were summoned by Pax is not what they thought. For some reason when the Xiocrom is talking I hear it in my head as a Dalek from Doctor Who…lol.

Meanwhile back on earth the government is in a bit of a panic because the martians have invaded Nebraska and taking all their milking cows. NASA and others are try to fight the martians but their missile are not working so well.

The gang heads to Terra(earth) to stop the Draconians invasion and save Mars and Terra.

The Martian Girl series has been a really fun series and this last part was full of excitement and great illustrations. Some of my favorites have been the cows! The looks on their faces really crack me up. The author did a great job of creating a fun story full of scientific fun. I am not a huge science fiction fan but I had a lot of fun with Aoléon and the gang.

I would recommend this to any young reader as it’s a lot of fun!
