R.I.P IX reading challenge!

September 3, 2014 Challenges 4

RIPchallengeAll this time I have been blogging and I can’t believe I haven’t run across this Fall challenge before. The only part about Fall that I love is it’s a great time for reading horror or anything that might make you look over your shoulder. Though I don’t need a certain time of the year to break out a good horror novel, there is just something about this time of year with it’s drab look and chilling weather that makes it a perfect time. RIP is hosted at Stainless Steele Droppings, so hop on over there to check it out.

There are a few different types of Perils you can choose from and this is what I am choosing: ripnineperilfirst           You only have to read four books for this Peril but I am sure I will read more than that and here is a list of what I could choose from. Review books:

From Review Pile:

monstermadness fall Fallen unbreakable

Ebooks bought:

Pines Asylumlake Darkbayou

Of of my bookshelves:

It  Gunslinger

(I love SK and use to read a lot of his book and was in the SK library and have almost all of his books, but looking over them I don’t think I have actually read half of them..now there lengths intimidate me and I haven’t tried them. I keep telling myself I am going to read It and start the Dark Tower series so maybe this time I will!!)

ripnineperilshort

On my Kindle:

edgarallenpoe gravedanger

ripnineperilscreen

Favorite classics:

The-wolfman dracula movie poster

Newer movies I haven’t seen yet but want too:

Conjuring_poster Insidious_–_Chapter_2_Poster

I will probably be watching more movies of this kind during this challenge and when I watch them I will list them, but these are the ones I want to watch.

Well that is my challenge and I know I will not get to all the books but I like to have a good list to choose from. So what are you waiting for come join the fun!!

You should! I figured I might as well since four of my review books falls into the categories. 🙂

You don’t like Fall? Blasphemy! I actually hate summer, even though I live in the Phoenix area, where it’s sunny and hot at least 9 months out of the year. Blech.

All of your books sound great. I have DARK BAYOU on my Kindle — just haven’t gotten to it yet. I’m also reading a Stephen King book — NEEDFUL THINGS. I think I’ve read it before, but I’m not sure.

    Good luck with the challenge!
