My TBR Pile~November 2014 Let’s Vote!

November 1, 2014 Memes 8

MTBRL1-1024x554Since it’s the first Saturday of the month it’s time for My TBR Pile a meme hosted by Michelle of Because Reading. It’s where you list three books that you are interested in reading from your TBR pile and then your followers vote on them. This month is Netgalley November so I am going to concentrate on my review TBR pile, so all three books are on my Netgalley list.

Wicked Ways by Lisa Jackson

The Greatest Terrors

Elizabeth Gaines Ellis is an ordinary suburban wife and mother. That’s what she tells herself as she flits between her realtor job, yoga class, and caring for her daughter, Chloe. But for months now, Elizabeth has worried that she’s far from normal…that she’s somehow the cause of a series of brutal, horrible deaths.

Are The Ones

Her mean-spirited boss. A bullying traffic cop. Her cheating husband. Elizabeth had reason to be angry with them all. She didn’t mean for them to die. No one will take her fears seriously–except the private investigator prying into her past. . .

Too Close To See

The more scared and angry Elizabeth becomes, the higher the death toll grows. But those who wrong her aren’t the only ones in danger. Because others have secrets too, and a relentless urge to kill without mercy or remorse…

Whisper the Dead  by Alyxandra Harvey

Cousins Gretchen, Emma, and Penelope are all dealing with what it means to be a Lovegrove. For Gretchen, it means she often feels like her head is going to explode. As a Whisperer, Gretchen constantly hears the whispers of other witches’ spells. And while this does help her to know when one of her own spells is going wrong, the incessant buzzing and pain the whispers cause makes it difficult to use her gift.

But when something evil begins to menace Mayfair, Gretchen must find a way to master her power. Along with her cousins, a madcap named Moira, and the icy yet irresistible Tobias Lawless, Gretchen faces deadly threats and unimaginable loss in the hopes of preventing the terrible Greymalkin Sisters from rising again.

The second book in The Lovegrove Legacy trilogy, Whisper the Dead will leave readers spellbound.

Let the voting commence! 🙂

My vote goes to Whisper the Dead! I admit, that’s mainly because I just finished A Breath of Frost, but I really enjoyed the first book! So, of course, the sequel looks like it’ll be really good!

I will admit I can’t wait to read this one, so even if it doesn’t get picked it’s going to be high on my list to read in Nov. 🙂

This was a hard decision, Stormi! I almost voted for Etiquette & Espionage because I’ve always been curious about it but I ended up going with Whisper the Dead. It just sounds so good. I can’t wait to see which one is chosen. I hope you enjoy whatever it is! 🙂
