My TBR List is a meme hosted by Michelle at Because Reading. It’s a fun way to make yourself read a book each month off of your TBR pile. The first Saturday we vote on a book out of three listed, the second Saturday we reveal the winner and on the Last Saturday of the month we post our review. So come on and join the fun and for more information about it head on over to Michelle’s blog!
My Picks for this Month
This is the horror book edition! đ I plan on reading all three this month but I need help deciding which one to start first. đ
Don’t spread the word!
Three-day weekend. Party at White Rock House on Henry Island.
You do NOT want to miss it.
It was supposed to be the weekend of their livesâan exclusive house party on Henry Island. Best friends Meg and Minnie each have their reasons for being there (which involve T.J., the schoolâs most eligible bachelor) and look forward to three glorious days of boys, booze and fun-filled luxury.
But what they expect is definitely not what they get, and what starts out as fun turns dark and twisted after the discovery of a DVD with a sinister message: Vengeance is mine.
Suddenly people are dying, and with a storm raging, the teens are cut off from the outside world. No electricity, no phones, no internet, and a ferry that isnât scheduled to return for two days. As the deaths become more violent and the teens turn on each other, can Meg find the killer before more people die? Or is the killer closer to her than she could ever imagine?
Terrified to tell her friends or family about this new power, Bridget confides in San Francisco’s senior exorcist, Monsignor Renault. The monsignor enlists her help in increasingly dangerous cases of demonic possession, but just as she is starting to come to terms with her freakish new role, Bridget receives a startling message from one of the demons. And when one of her oldest friends is killed, Bridget realizes she’s in deeper than she ever thought possible. Now she must unlock the secret to the demons’ plan before someone else close to her winds up dead – or worse, the human vessel for a demon king.
Deliaâs new house isnât just a house. Long ago, it was the Piven Institute for the Care and Correction of Troubled Femalesâan insane asylum nicknamed âHysteria Hall.â However, many of the inmates were not insane, just defiant and strong willed. Kind of like Delia herself.
But the house still wants to keep âtroubledâ girls locked away. So, in the most horrifying way, Delia gets trapped.
And thatâs when she learns that the house is also haunted.
Ghost girls wander the halls in their old-fashioned nightgowns. A handsome ghost boy named Theo roams the grounds. Delia finds that all the spirits are unsettled and full of dark secrets. The house, as well, harbors shocking truths within its wallsâtruths that only Delia can uncover, and that may set her free.
But sheâll need to act quickly, before the houseâs power overtakes everything she loves.
From master of suspense Katie Alender comes a riveting tale of twisted memories and betrayals, and the meaning of madness.
Making this I just realized that two reads where by the same author…lol. So which one do you think I should read first after the like five it seems I have going right now…lol (okay maybe that a  tiny exaggeration..lol.)

Uhm there’s no voting widget? I vote for Possess! That cover is creepy with the blue and the dark lines and I think I even have it on my to-read list. I hope you’ll enjoy them all.
Stormi
Been a long day, I remembered it a bit after I made my post so it’s on there now if you want to vote. đ Possess does look creepy!

No problem, I just voted in the poll as well :).

I’d go for Ten. The island, the storm, the plot! It would be a great thriller movie.
Laura @ trips down imagination road

I went with Ten. I remember reading it and the Agatha Christie book it was based on and liking them both.
