My TBR List is a meme hosted by Michelle at Because Reading. It’s a fun way to make yourself read a book each month off of your TBR pile. The first Saturday we vote on a book out of three listed, the second Saturday we reveal the winner and on the Last Saturday of the month we post our review. So come on and join the fun and for more information about it head on over to Michelle’s blog!
My Picks for this Month
So for today’s picks I went over to my TBR bookcase and stared at it a while and then decided that these three would be books I would like to read and knock off my list so have fun choosing cause I know it’s hard for me. Β This months read is nothing but for fun, tired of review books I need something fun!! π
So starts the diary of Will Henry, orphaned assistant to Dr. Pellinore Warthorpe, a man with a most unusual specialty: monstrumology, the study of monsters. In his time with the doctor, Will has met many a mysterious late-night visitor, and seen things he never imagined were real. But when a grave robber comes calling in the middle of the night with a gruesome find, he brings with him their most deadly case yet.
A gothic tour de force that explores the darkest heart of man and monster and asks the question: When does man become the very thing he hunts?

Kendra and her brother, Seth, have no idea that their grandfather is the current caretaker of Fablehaven. Inside the gated woods, ancient laws keep relative order among greedy trolls, mischievous satyrs, plotting witches, spiteful imps, and jealous fairies. However, when the rules get broken — Seth is a bit too curious and reckless for his own good — powerful forces of evil are unleashed, and Kendra and her brother face the greatest challenge of their lives. To save their family, Fablehaven, and perhaps even the world, Kendra and Seth must find the courage to do what they fear most.
Help me out here and take a few seconds to vote on a book I will read this month. You don’t have to be a part of this meme to vote if you stop by just to browse, then go ahead and vote! π

I voted the monster one-I have read the A is for Alibi a really long time ago and while I liked it okay, I gave up the series after reading C.And none of them are memorable to me although I know a lot of people love them. I’ll be interested to see what you think π

I love the Alphabet series (I know, that’s not the official title), so I went with A is for Alibi. I seriously need to make time to finish that series. I’m in the middle and she’s almost finished writing them.
Stormi
Good to know it’s a good series, I have always seen it around and recently bought the first one at a used bookstore to give it a try. π
