Movie Spotlight #2 for Dumbo

March 26, 2019 Misc. 8

I am back with another post about Dumbo as I am working with Grace Hills Media to promote this movie that I can’t wait to see as it just looks super cute!

I remember going to the Circus as a kid and I always loved the parts with animals, from elephants to tigers and even those little dogs in tutus! It was such a fun time to be with my family and friends and be entertained.

So when I was asked to write about what I would be or do if I joined the circus. I knew right away what I would want to do.I have heard numerous times about how Circus animals are abused and neglected and not properly cared for, so I would want to be hired to take care of the animals so I know they are being properly cared for and not treated badly. I think it would be so much fun to be able to just be around all the animals, especially the elephants as I have a soft spot for those large creatures!

What would you like to do if you joined a circus?

About the movie:

From Disney and visionary director Tim Burton, “Dumbo” expands on the beloved classic story where differences are celebrated, family is cherished and dreams take flight.   Circus owner Max Medici (Danny DeVito) enlists former star Holt Farrier (Colin Farrell) and his children Milly (Nico Parker) and Joe (Finley Hobbins) to care for a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him a laughingstock in an already struggling circus. But when they discover that Dumbo can fly, the circus makes an incredible comeback, attracting persuasive entrepreneur V.A. Vandevere (Michael Keaton), who recruits the peculiar pachyderm for his newest, larger-than-life entertainment venture, Dreamland. Dumbo soars to new heights alongside a charming and spectacular aerial artist, Colette Marchant (Eva Green), until Holt learns that beneath its shiny veneer, Dreamland is full of dark secrets.  “Dumbo” soars into theaters on March 29.

This looks so adorable…and sad. I bet I cry. I’d be right there with you wanting to help the animals. I admit I was a little glad when a lot of the circuses folded. The animals deserve better.

It does seem like the best job to me! 🙂 I can’t wait to see it too! I don’t normally go and see live action versions of cartoons but Dumbo is just so stinking cute I think I might…lol.

I’d like to do that too, Stormi. And I’ll be watching the movie when it comes out. Looks cute and I loved reading about Dumbo when I was a little girl:)
