I can’t believe that March is already over and it’s time for another Monthly Report of how I am doing on my reading challenges this year.
So I have read/listened a total of 41 books this year which is pretty good for me and I think if I can keep on this track then I will reach my Goodreads goal of 175 books read this year..fingers crossed. π
In March I read /listened to 14 books.
Invalid challenge name.
I think I am doing decent with this challenge, the real challenge will be finding authors with the last name for the harder letters..lol. (If you know a good I,V, X, or Y I am still trying to find something for them..so will take recommendations in case I find something in your reads that I like. π )
I read one book for this challenge this month:
How the Scoundrel Seduces by Sabrina Jefferies (Letter J)
Technically I have read 7 books for this challenge but it only shows the ones that have been reviewed as of this post.
Invalid challenge name.
I am doing pretty good with this one, though it doesn’t reflect the books that are scheduled so I really have 18 read not 14. π
I listened to 9 books for this challenge this month:
How the Scoundrel Seduces by Sabrina Jefferies
War’s Passion by Lia Davis
Murder at the Book Group by Maggie King
Invaded by Melissa Landers
The Dangers of Dating a Rebound Vampires by Molly Harper
Cocaine Blues by Kelly Greenwood
A Potion to Die For by Heather Blake
Talk Dirty to Me by Dakota Cassidy
Silent Night by C. J. Kyle
Rocked those audios in March! π
Invalid challenge name.
I think I am rocking this challenge! I am in such a mystery/thriller mood lately so I am sure I will surpass this and have to up my challenge. π Actually read 7 for this challenge but Silent Night hasn’t gone live.
Read 3 books for this challenge this month:
Liars, Inc. by Paula Stoke
Cocaine Blues by Kelly Greenwood
Silent Night by C. J. Kyle
Invalid challenge name.
I could be doing better with this one and I have some cozy that I need to review soon so I am not nervous I can rock this one too..lol.
Read one book for this challenge this month:
Murder at the Book Group by Maggie King
Invalid challenge name.
I did so well with this one I had to up my total so I could read more..lol. My original goal was 6. π
Read one books for this challenge:
How the Scoundrel Seduces by Sabrina Jefferies
Invalid challenge name.
With this one I am suppose to read two a month off of my assigned list I made. This month I had to DNF one but read the other.
The two books for this month were:
The Crypt Keeper by K. A. Young (DNFed which is sad because it was going to be my Y for my other challenge..lol)
The Body in the Woods by April Henry (finished)
Invalid challenge name.
I so need to get busy on this challenge and I have plenty of books to read for it, so I am just slacking.
Invalid challenge name.
I think I am doing fair on this one but Β I need to step it up a notch.
Read 5 books this month for this challenge:
Red by Alyxandra Harvey (N)
Mist of Midnight by Sandra Byrd (N)
Liars, Inc. by Paula Stokes (E)
The Body in the Woods by April Henry (N)
Dark Alchemy by Laura Bickle (E)
Invalid challenge name.
I am doing pretty good with this one but I sort of put my goal low, so if I get to where I go over my goal I might up it. π
Read 6 this month for this challenge:
Red by Alyxandra Harvey
Mist of Midnight by Sandra Byrd
Liars, Inc. by Paula Stokes
The Dangers of Dating a Rebound Vampires by Molly Harper
Invaded by Melissa Landers
Dark Alchemy by Laura Bickle
Bookish Resolution Challenge
1) Get my netgalley ratio up and knock off some edelweiss books.
This month I didn’t do real great with that but I did knock two off of Edelweiss and my ratio for netgalley went up one percent. So I really need to work on this..which means not Β grabbing books but it’s so addicting!
2) Try my hand at discussion questions.
I fail! I do have a question and I kept thinking I was going to post it Β then I didn’t so I am hoping to get to that one in April. π
3) Limit my netgalley/edelweiss eARC’s to 5 or less if I can.
For the month of March I got 5 netgalley books and No Edelweiss so not to bad. π
4) Read more of my own books.
I listened to Cocaine Blues which was one of my own books but I so need to do better at this so I kind of consider this a fail. π
5)Lose weight.
Epic fail. nuff said. π
So that is how my challenges are going as you can see some books are listed more than once because I do cross overs on my challenges..if I didn’t I would never read enough books to make it..lol. So how are your challenges going?

You’re doing pretty well overall on all your challenges, Stormi! My biggest fail is in the Audiobook challenge, and also in my Bookish Resolutions… I still haven’t been able to quit smoking *sighs*
I hope you’ll have a wonderful Wednesday my friend!
Stormi
Yeah I am not doing to bad. π I really got to start my Horror Challenge..didn’t have anything to add to the update for it and it looked sad being all nothing..lol.

You are doing really well!
Stormi
Thanks, I am trying really hard this year! π
Sarah @ Flood of Books, etc.
Wow 41 books is awesome! I am hoping to reach that number for the whole year. π You are making good progress on your challenges. I finally made a bit of progress on my get healthy goal this month, but I have a major fear of Easter candy and the effects of it on my diet. Good luck in April!
Stormi
I am sure you can reach your goal! I have got to get my butt in gear with the health thing. π

You’re doing great! I feel like this year is just better because I’m better organized.
So I went through my read books on goodreads and for V I can recommend Carrie Vaughn. I’d do the audio for Kitty Norville series. It’s not amazballs, but I enjoyed it. I can loan it to you too. Also, there’s Rachel Vincent – I have her soul screamers series on audio (Amanda Ronconi!) and I loved it. Or she has several other books I just haven’t read yet. I apparently haven’t read any books by any authors whose last names begins with an I, X, or Y… Lol good luck!
