Monthly Report ~October

November 11, 2019 Memes 6

How can it be November already! I can’t believe how fast the year has flown by! For the month of October I read 12 books which was better than I thought since I wasn’t have some slumpy, all I want to do is watch horror movies feels…lol. I tried to participate in two readathons and failed as I didn’t get all the challenges done but still got books read so not an epic fail. I participated in my first readathon for HEX which was a lot of fun! We did a chat on each Sunday to talk about the section we read. 🙂

So my total so far is 116 books this year which is way more than I thought I would read as I have been kind of slumpy, especially at the start of the year. It also shows me that I am way behind on reviews as Goodreads says 105…ugh. I have really been failing on the review front…lol.

What I read/listened to in the month of October

I think I would say my favorite book of the month was Slash by Hunter Shea! 🙂

Challenges

Cloak and Dagger

54 out of 100 (I think it’s safe to say I am not going to make 100 but oh well)

Netgalley and Edelweiss

26 out of 25 (YES, one challenge finished. I feel accomplished now…lol.)

What I hope to get to in

You are doing great with your reading, Stormi. I need to update my TBR so I can see how many I’ve actually read. I have a bunch I’ve not added to my list as I sometimes wait until I review them to mark them as read.

i learned early on not to do too many challenges. i don’t keep up with them if i do. i see some familiar books and some i want to add to my mountain of books. you did great. 116 books is nothing to sneeze at. hope you get some more good ones before the year is out

Sounds like a good month, despite some slumps! Congrats on finishing one challenge for the year already too! I’ve read 108 books so far this year and I’m excited because for the first time EVER I’m actually ahead on my goal (for 120). However, we’ll just avoid the whole topic of reviews lol!

    Happy reading Stormi
