Monthly Report ~ November

December 2, 2019 Misc. 7

I can’t believe November is over! It seems like the older I get the shorter the years get! I had a pretty good November and read/listened to 11 books. I even managed to finish a November challenge.Β  I am read a total of 129 books which means once I catch up on my reviews Goodreads will be shouting I finished that challenge as I had it set at 125 so I passed my goal!

I do want to make note that I also finished 399 pages of The Stand by Stephen King so that is like finishing a book…lol. Barb and I are buddy reading it and splitting it up into thirds since it’s 1153 pages long. We will read the next section in December.

The break down of the 11 books:

  • 1 print
  • 3 audiobooks
  • 7 ebooks

What I read/listened to in the month of November

Cloak and Dagger

60 out of 100 (I think we can officially say I probably won’t complete this challenge with only one month to go!)

Netgalley and Edelweiss

30 out of 25 (So finishing this challenge early can make up for not finishing the other one…lol.)

November Challenge:

Can You Read a Series in a Month

I read and completed all the books that are currently out in the Wine Trail Mystery series by JC Eaton. So challenge completed!

What I hope to get to in December

I do have some 2019 books I want to get in but I am going to concentrate mostly on 2020 books in December to try and get ahead of things so I don’t get behind! It’s a goal for 2020!

2019 reads

2020 reads

Other books (buddy reads, etc.)

Congrats on meeting all your goals! I’m never sure whether to catch up in December with books I missed during the year or get ahead with January books. I’m really behind so I’m afraid catch up it is😁

After just finishing a non-fiction by Gregg Olsen, Snow Creek appeals to me. COngrats on meeting your goals for the year! I’m close, but not sure I’ll get mine. I may literally be off by 1 or 2, but I’m trying! πŸ˜€
It’s really true that the older you get, the faster time flies. Happy December!

Hmmm…where is The Stand πŸ™‚ I see some familiar books here and will be reading some of the same ones in late December or early January. I think you are doing great on your challenges. Did we have The Dead Girls Club slated for this month? Let me know if we took it off.

I figured I will be mentioning The Stand enough it didn’t need to go here…lol. πŸ™‚

I’m 2 books away from my year goal, so I feel really confident I’ll surpass my goal. Yay!
