Just haven’t been up to writing reviews lately so here are some short ones. 🙂

The Bodies in the Library by Marty Wingate

First book in the First Editions Library series and it was an okay start to a series. Hayley has a job as curator for the first editions library society and she is in charge of the golden age mysteries but she knows nothing about mystery because she has never read any. She lets a group of writers use one of the rooms and then one of the writers is murdered and Hayley tries to figure out who killed the victim. Overall it was okay but I thought the part where she has a boyfriend but doesn’t really have one since he is gone all the time, then starts liking this other guy so decides to break up with said boyfriend part of the story could have been left out it just didn’t make sense, other than that I thought it was okay and had a decent mystery.  3 stars!

Saddled Up 4 Murder by J. C. Eaton

The ninth book in the  Sophie Kimball series and it was just as fun as the others! I love this series! In this one Nate and Marshal get called in to help solve some cases involving horse thieves and so they are gone most of the books. Then someone Phee’s mom calls the deli-witch is murdered and it is up to Sophie to figure it out because her mom needs her 15 minutes of fame and won’t get it if the library tower is closed…lol. Harriet was pretty funny in this one and Streetman her dog really had a great part in it towards the end which I loved it had me laughing. I love Sophie but sometimes she reminds me to much of her mother which can be cringy at times but over all this was great! 5 stars!
