Life of a Blogger: Favorite websites

February 12, 2015 Memes 11

lifeofabloggerLife of a Blogger is a meme started by Novel Heartbeat and I decided to try it out this year so that everyone can learn a bit more about me.

I keep forgetting to do this meme! πŸ™‚

Β This week’s question is about your favorite websites. What websites do you visit the most.

Blogs: I spend a lot of time visiting other book blogs. I have some favorites that I check every day then some I just check once a week, etc. I try and pick out new ones to visit from The Sunday Post.

My Own Blog: I am rather addicted to it and I found this out last weekend when my host had a server update and I wasn’t allowed to log in for about a day and a half..it was horrible!!! I was having withdrawls..lol.

Facebook: Facebook is always up on my desk top computer and I am always checking it out. I probably waste way to much time there..lol.

Netgalley/Edelweiss: What blogger doesn’t go there a lot..lol. I have been trying to say away but it’s not working! πŸ™‚

Goodreads: I am always checking out book there, especially when I see books on someones STS or TSP, or even just a review. Some times when a book is mentioned in the COYER FB group I have to go check it out. πŸ™‚

Amazon: Just call me a One click addict. I can’t help it..lol.

TSU: This is a new social media place and I find that I like it a lot so it stays up on my computer just like facebook. I like it a bit more than FB just because my feed is mostly authors and bloggers. πŸ™‚ So lots of bookish things. πŸ™‚

The Internet Movie Database: It’s my go to for movie info and finding out what might be coming out soon. I like being able to look up an actor/ess and find out what new movies they will be staring in. πŸ™‚

Runner Up:

Book Likes: I go and visit now and then but not as much as I do the above places.

Bloglovin: I try to check this site once or twice a week, but I will admit to following way more blogs than I have time to visit. πŸ™

So what are some of your favorite places to visit?

I visit bloglovin through my email, so it didn’t show up on my history list. Also, I try not to visit netgalley or edelweiss too often. I only visit them like once a week. I could get into trouble if I keep those sites open too much. I am on amazon a lot lately. Reading and voting for reviews mostly.

I seriously do not know what I would do without goodreads. I’ve used it for so long. When the site goes down, it’s like losing a close friend! πŸ™‚

Oh definitely Bloglovin, my own blog and NetGalley/Edelweiss. I have a TSU account but have done nothing with it and need to work with that more. I visit Facebook a lot but really shouldn’t because other than the COYER group and a few other things it mostly just irritates me but I don’t feel right about unfriending people!

I stink at TSU I can never remember to go on it lol. I need to maybe use it more? Our addiction of Netgalley and Edelweiss is down right scary πŸ™‚ We need to do a serious ban at the end of the year…but not now πŸ˜‰

I live on Goodreads, It’s like it’s always open LOL

Michelle, I agree we need to do a ban but I am afraid it won’t happen remember last year..lol. πŸ˜‰

I haven’t done anything but claim my name on Tsu. I can’t keep up with social media in general, so adding another site just isn’t in the cards for me I don’t think!

All all those, but I faithful to Pinterest the most, but I really don’t use for books much. My #1 has to be audible…LOL
I liked TSU but I haven’t been going there that much lately.
I’m and on line addict too!

Goodreads above all when it comes to books. I’m on it at least twice a day. Amazon and Facebook of course. But I LOVE Netgalley and Bloglvin. AND my blog Obsessivebooknerd.

BUT I haven’t quite figured out Edelweis yet…any tips? I have account.
