Life of a Blogger is a weekly meme hosted by Jessi @ Novel Heartbeat. Each week Jessi chooses a topic that’s not book related so we that we can get to know our fellow bloggers better – and to know more about them than just books. I’m thrilled to join in and I hope to participate as often as possible. Check out Novel Heartbeat for more info!
So this is my first time participating in Life as a Blogger. It was one of my goals for 2015 to talk a little bit more about myself and what a interesting topic for my first one..LOL.
I don’t have a lot of scares but I do have a few that are noticeable.
- Most noticeable one will be the one that is in between my eyesbrows and closest to my right eyebrow. When I was in kindergarten I was on the school bus going home. Our bus wasn’t working right or something (to long ago to remember everything) and we had to go to the high school to get a new bus. This bus apparently had some really touchy breaks. I was sitting in the front seat holding on to the bar and my bus drive put on the breaks and it slammed me into the gear shifts of the bus. I remember the bus driver picked me up and ran me back into the high school and by the time he got me there his shirt was half red with my blood. Needless to say I had to have five stitches. It gave me a black and blue eye and nose area and mom said I didn’t want to go to school cause I was ugly. 🙂
- Another noticeable one on my face is a pock mark from when I was a baby and I had the chicken poxs. My brother got the chicken poxs when he was about four or five and gave them to me and I was only like nine months old I think. Mom said that she had to put socks on my fingers so I wouldn’t scratch and so I must have scratched one really good cause it never went away. 🙁 It’s above my left eyebrow.
- The next one is on my left right knee and it was also from when I was a kid. I was in about the third grade I think when I was doing a balancing act on those (not sure what you call them) things that you park your cars in front of. They are like cement blocks..anyway I am sure you know what I am talking about..I hope. 🙂 I lost my balance and my knee hit the side corner and busted open. I really should have had stitches but my stupid school decided to just put a butterfly bandage on it and call it good. So it’s pretty thick scar.
- A few years ago I had to have gall bladder surgery and they made three small incisions on my stomach and that was the second time I have ever had stitches. There was like one or two stitches in each spot but it left three little scars on my stomach.
So those are about the only scars that I can think off that I have and it’s real surprising cause I really am a clumsy person..lol. Do you have any scars?
