Since there are a few Friday Meme’s that I want to participate in I have decided to post them all in one post.
Book Beginnings is hosted by Rose City Reader. Take the first sentence of your current read and post it.
Only read a few pages of this so far so no opinions but I hope it’s good!!!
I just think nothing good can come from being blindfolded and driven somewhere!!!

The Friday 56 is hosted by Freda @ Freda’s Voice. It’s like Tuesday Teaser but you have a specific place in your read that you have to turn in your read (page 56 or 56%) to get your teaser.
Sherilyn got to her feet. “Stop being so cynical.” She moved towards the stained-glass windows. “We all know what’s at stake. Anyone who claims three million dollars isn’t a serious incentive is lying.”
From page 56 of the ARC so could change in final print. Sounds pretty interesting!
Book Blogger Hop is hosted by Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer. Each week we are asked a question to answer so it reminds me a bit of FF and so I thought it made a good fit to my other Friday Memes.
If you could take the place of any fictional character, who would it be and why?
Umm, so I would definitely be Veronica Speedwell from the Veronica Speedwell mystery series by Deanna Raybourn. Not only is she a very fascinating woman who studies butterflies and speaks her mind in a time when that is frown upon but she gets to hang out with STOKER!!!! 🙂

I thought for sure you’d say Lindsey from the Library Lover’s series. Since you snagged Veronica, I’d say Lindsey. However I’ll trade you Sully for Stoker – he has a bulldog. I sure hope “The Dark Game” is good too. You have me afraid to read Janz!
Tammy @ Books, Bones & Buffy
The Dark Game definitely sounds like it has potential😁
Laura Thomas
I enjoyed The Dark Game. Lots of atmosphere and twists.
Carole @ Carole's Random Life in Books
This sounds like a promising book. I do hope you end up enjoying it. I could definitely see myself enjoying a bit of time in Veronica’s place. She is a great character.
Freda
You had me right from the beginning!! I added you to the Linky. Happy weekend!
Kathy Martin
Sounds like a creepy story. This week I am spotlighting Come and Get Me by August Norman. Happy reading!

Oh boy. I’ll stick with my mantra: If it sounds too good to be true, it is. Avoid it. The Walk
Breana M.
The Dark Game sounds like an intriguing story. Enjoy your current read!
Katherine @ I Wish I Lived in a Library
The Dark Game sounds incredibly creepy! Definitely a stay up to late page turner. Hope you’re enjoying it! I love the Veronica Speedwell choice though I would need access to indoor plumbing and hot water for anyone I’m trading places with!
Nicki J. Markus
Hope you’ll continue to enjoy it as you get further in.
Lauren @ Always Me
I’ve been wanting to start the Speedwell books. Thanks for sharing!
