Friday Meme’s: RED

February 27, 2015 Memes 35

BMR,Friday's MemeSince there are a few Friday Meme’s that I want to participate in I have decided to post them all in one post.

featurefollowFeature and Follow Friday is hosted by Alison Can Read and Parajunkee.

Your house is burning down and you have time to select three books you own to take with you. What three books?
Well, most of my favorite books are in my kindle, but if I had to grab physical books it would be my Complete works of Shakespeare and Jane Auten and then my collectors copy of Jane Eyre which is like really old and delicate. ๐Ÿ™‚ (Didn’t want to get mine out and take a picture so this copy of Jane Eyre was closest I could find to what mine looks like.)

book beginnings memeBook Beginnings is hosted by Rose City Reader. Take the first sentence of your current read and post it.

redSince they were from different POV’s I decided to do one sentence from Prologue and one from Chapter One. ๐Ÿ™‚

Prologue: Kia

There was one reason I regretted setting fire to my old school.

Chapter One: Ethan

Sometimes an electric fence wasn’t enough. As much as I hated checking the wards, I felt like I could finally breathe only when I was miles away from the house and my father.

Friday 56

The Friday 56 is hosted by Freda @ Freda’s Voice. It’s like Tuesday ย Teaser but ย you have a specific place in your read that you have to turn in your read (page 56 or 56%) toย get your teaser.

“Will you do to Sloane what you did to Riley? “What the hell do you know about Riley?” When she shifted suddenly from foot to foot, I felt sure the soles of her shoes had gone hot. I wondered if I was the only one who could smell smoke and roses.

This is from 56% of the ARC on my kindle. I am not this far into the book so this makes me really curious. I do know that so far I am enjoying the book and can’t wait to figure out what is happening here..lol. ๐Ÿ™‚

ย Leave a link to your Friday memes and I will go and check them out! ๐Ÿ™‚

Ooohhh! Classics! ๐Ÿ™‚ I’ve never been a fan of the classics, it makes me drowsy but I’m adding that to my TBR resolution.

Red, I requested this but I got declined. ๐Ÿ™ Really interesting, though!

Danna, I wasn’t always a big fan of the classics but I have started liking them more. I tried my first classics after watching a movie that talked about it..You Got Mail talked bout Pride and Prejudice and it made me curious..and I really enjoyed it. ๐Ÿ™‚

The house is on fire not really gonna think about books ๐Ÿ™‚
I’m grabbing my tablet, my photo books and the signed books. I don’t really have a favorite book I can’t live without.

Well to be honest I will be thinking about my dogs more than my books but I would have to grab my kindle. ๐Ÿ™‚

I would probably grab my paperback copies of Amber Lynn Natusch’s Caged series-one of which is signed to me. I have them on my Kindle, but I collect her paperbacks. Actually in reality, I would grab my cats, phone and Kindle, and be done with it!
