Friday Meme’s ~ Please Don’t Tell

April 1, 2016 Misc. 13

BMR,Friday's MemeSince there are a few Friday Meme’s that I want to participate in I have decided to post them all in one post.

feature-and-followFeature and Follow Friday is hosted by Alison Can Read and Parajunkee.

3 Favorite Book Boyfriends, books they’re in, and why you’ll always love them.

Okay, so this might be weird for some of you who have a ton of book boyfriends but I really don’t have any. I mean I have some male characters that I really liked but I never have obsessed over any. Barrons from the Fever series sounds pretty hot and always the first one I think of when I see this question, but he isn’t really boyfriend material if you ask me…lol.

I will say that I think I love Jack from Cedar Cove series a lot more now than before since watching the TV show because Dylan Neal is hot and makes a perfect Jack. 🙂

Other than that I can’t really think of any others.

book beginnings memeBook Beginnings is hosted by Rose City Reader. Take the first sentence of your current read and post it.

please don't tell

Joy killed Adam Gordon—at least, that’s what she thinks. The night of the party is hazy at best. But she knows what Adam did to her twin sister, Grace, and she knows he had to pay for it.

What Joy doesn’t expect is that someone else saw what happened. And one night a note is shoved through her open window, threatening Joy that all will be revealed. Now the anonymous blackmailer starts using Joy to expose the secrets of their placid hometown. And as the demands escalate, Joy must somehow uncover the blackmailer’s identity before Joy is forced to make a terrible choice.

In this darkly compelling narrative, debut author Laura Tims explores the complicated relationship between two sisters, and what one will do for the other. It’s a story that will keep readers turning pages and questioning their own sense of right and wrong.

Not started this one but it looks good and can’t wait to try it.

I’m hiding in the bathroom.

My hands are shaking, and I’m crying. I don’t know when that started.

Friday 56

The Friday 56 is hosted by Freda @ Freda’s Voice. It’s like Tuesday  Teaser but  you have a specific place in your read that you have to turn in your read (page 56 or 56%) to get your teaser.

“He’ll be fired after this,” I say even though I have no idea what’s going to happen after that DVD plays.

Hmmm, now that sounds interesting. I wonder what is on that DVD.

book blogger hop

Book Blogger Hop is hosted by Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer.  Each week we are asked a question to answer so it reminds me a bit of FF and so I thought it made a good fit to my other Friday Memes.

Have you ever ventured out of your comfort zone in terms of reading a genre you have never read? If so, did you get hooked on that new genre?

I have ventured out of my comfort zone and read some genres that I don’t normally care for but I have never really gotten hooked. It’s still touch and go with those genres. I am not a huge Sci-fi fan but if it’s sort of light sci-fi then I can usually handle it but if it gets all tech geek on me then I don’t care for it. I like some chick lit but not all.

I don’t really do book boyfriends that much either. There are characters that I love. If you asked me to pick one to be a real life boyfriend, I couldn’t do it. I just don’t see any of them as someone I would want to be with for many different reasons. When I did my 10 Ten Book Boyfriends of 2015 for a end of year thing I did last year. I picked ten male characters I really loved. It could’ve just as easily has female characters on that list.

I’m curious about the DVD too.

I’m intrigued! I definitely want to know what’s on that DVD and am curious just to find out what happens overall. This sounds like a good read! The only genre that was out of my comfort zone that I’ve gotten hooked on was romance years and years ago and looking back it wasn’t that out of my comfort zone I just didn’t realize it!
