October 16, 2015 Memes 15

BMR,Friday's MemeSince there are a few Friday Meme’s that I want to participate in I have decided to post them all in one post.

featurefollowFeature and Follow Friday is hosted by Alison Can Read and Parajunkee.

If you could have any super power, what would it be? – Suggested by Jess Time to Read

It’s not a power so to speak cause it is a suit you wear that gives you the power but I think it would be cool to be like Ant Man and shrink down to the size of an ant. You could go anywhere and nobody would know you are there!!! You know that saying, “I wish I was a fly on that wall.” Well you wouldn’t be a fly but an tiny human and it’s the same concept….lol.

Never Smile at Strangers

When nineteen-year-old Tiffany Perron vanishes without a trace, the residents of rural Grand Trespass, Louisiana, launch a desperate search to find her. But few clues are unearthed, and before long another young woman disappears.

As locals continue to vanish, residents begin to discover that they might not know those closest to them as well as they had thought. Lies and insecurities quickly surface, leading everyone to question one another…and their involvement in the disappearances.

Meanwhile, an unstable, twisted killer is hiding quietly in their midst. Ever since his mother’s murder four years earlier, he’s been forced to raise his disturbed teenage sister. He’s terrified of her—and of women in general—and his world revolves around his fear of and obsession over them.

This is a psychological  thriller/mystery that I am currently reading. I am only about 18% into it and I think I am getting close to the part where it picks up a bit since a girl is missing….I hope….lol.

Haley Landry followed her best friend, Tiffany Perron, into Provost’s, a small bar that lay at the fringe of Grand Trespass, Louisiana.

The town was little more than a post office, a filling station, man-made ponds used to harvest crawfish and catfish, a diner, a tackle shop, a church, and an old general store with a faded oversized RC Cola billboard.

Nothing wowing me here but it does show you that it’s a very small town where pretty much everyone knows everyone.

Friday 56

The Friday 56 is hosted by Freda @ Freda’s Voice. It’s like Tuesday  Teaser but  you have a specific place in your read that you have to turn in your read (page 56 or 56%) to get your teaser.

She was looking forward to the detective coming by again. So far, he’d come by twice to ask her questions. Both times he had irritated her, but he wouldn’t know. Now, she had to much to learn. She even considered asking the detective if she could help him with the investigation in some sort of small way. It would allow her to gather more information.

This is one of the characters Erica, not sure how she fits into things yet but she seems to have her own chapters. I know she wants to be an writer and so I am thinking that is why she wants to follow the detective around but I am not sure…maybe she is badder than I think she is…lol.

book blogger hop halloween editionBook Blogger Hop is hosted by Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer.

Each week we are asked a question to answer so it reminds me a bit of FF and so I thought it made a good fit to my other Friday Memes.

Your having a costume party with the theme “Book Characters.” Who would you go as?

Halfway to the grave

If going as Cat would make me skinny like her and I could have Bones on my arm, I would so go as her. 🙂
