Since there are a few Friday Meme’s that I want to participate in I have decided to post them all in one post.
Book Beginnings is hosted by Rose City Reader. Take the first sentence of your current read and post it.
I am a little late getting this in today but I figured what the heck I was going to do it anyway. 🙂
When Tobi Tobias opened her own advertising agency, Carter McDade was there for her every step of the way. A brilliant hairdresser, Carter has just landed his dream project: doing hair and makeup for a theatrical production of Rapunzel. But the dream turns into a nightmare when he runs into Fiona Renoir, a cruel, talentless starlet who won’t let Carter touch a hair on her head.
To get Fiona out of Carter’s hair, Tobi hires the difficult actress for a bit part in her latest commercial. But true to character, Fiona is a terror on set, and Tobi is starting to think she’s made the biggest mistake of her life. But things get even worse when Fiona drops dead in the hairdresser’s chair, and the only suspect is the man left holding the tainted hair dye, Carter McDade. And unless Tobi can prove his innocence, he’ll never do hair in this town again.
I loved the first one so much (Death in Advertising) that I just couldn’t wait to read the next one. 🙂 It’s just as good as the first!
There was simply crunching.
Loud, deliberate crunching.
It’s kind of a weird start but if you keep reading and have read the first one you would probably be laughing cause Carter is eating Tobi’s Cocoa Puffs and he is a health nut. So he must be traumatized. 🙂
The Friday 56 is hosted by Freda @ Freda’s Voice. It’s like Tuesday Teaser but you have a specific place in your read that you have to turn in your read (page 56 or 56%) to get your teaser.
It was a known fact.
Across every country on every continent.
With the lone exception, of course, of Carter McDade-who’d surely been dropped on his head as a baby (I mean, really, what other possible explanation could there be for not liking chocolate).
I must agree with Tobi, he must have been dropped on his head…lol.
Book Blogger Hop is hosted by Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer. Each week we are asked a question to answer so it reminds me a bit of FF and so I thought it made a good fit to my other Friday Memes.
Do you ever go “way back” to when you first started blogging and look at your old review posts? Do you see any differences from then to now?
Yes, and my reviews were so small and not much of anything. I have come a long ways since then and my blog has changed a lot over the years!
Elizabeth (Silver's Reviews)
Same here…I have gotten better as we should.
Changing and growing is important.
Nice answer.
Thanks, and Happy Hopping!!

Looks like another fun cozy series! I’m the same way. I avoid my old reviews now. LOL
Katherine @ I Wish I Lived in a Library
I want to read this one! Laura Bradford is on my list of authors I really need to read and I love the sound of the teasers. My reviews were way shorter too! I wonder sometimes if I’ve gotten to long now!
