A short and free story, 9.1 in the Psy-Changeling paranormal romance series which revolves around two packs of shifters just outside San Francisco. The couple focus in “Clean and Dirty” is on Faith NightStar and Vaughan. If you’re interested, there is a chronological listing of the Psy-Changeling books on my website.

My Take

While it takes place around the time of Play of Passion, 9, it does work as a standalone tale in this too-short peek in at life at home with Faith and Vaughn, using third person dual protagonist point-of-view.

It’s cheerful, lively, and so very sweet as the pair of them combine housework with love. As well as a fact of kopi luwak coffee…ick…

Hmmm, I had no idea Faith had this “extra” ability. Can you imagine how much fun it could be with kids??

The Story

All that marble dust, getting into everything and laying deep on the furniture. It’s Vaughn’s fault, so its only fair that he help clean…and that shower certainly helps clean even more.

Only…it does lead to ideas…

The Characters

Vaughn is a jaguar changeling who sculpts and a sentinel in the DarkRiver leopard pack. His mate, Faith “Red” NightStar, is a cardinal F-Psy, a.k.a., foreseer.

The Title

The title is literal in the first, “Clean and Dirty” while the second part of the title is more in the metaphysical sense, lol.
