Binge Watchers #16 ~ Murdoch Mysteries #bingewatchersclub

April 11, 2018 Memes 4

Binge Watchers meme is every other Wednesday and it allows you to make it however you want so it’s easy for you. You can make list, share episodes or your take on the whole show, etc. Hosted by myself and Michelle at Because Reading.

I started watching Murdoch Mysteries a while back but never finished it out and now it’s on it’s 11th season I believe!! So I started over again and I am on the fifth season.

Murdoch Mysteries stars Yannick Bisson (one of my favorite actors!) and it’s a historical mystery based in Toronto around late 1890 to early 1900’s. William Murdoch is a young detective who is very much into science and inventing. He has come up with many machines to aid them in catching criminals. It’s fun because you get to meet several historical figures along the way, Nikola Tesla, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Winston Churchill, and on and on.

All the characters are a lot of fun from his boss Inspector Brackenreid to Constable George Crabtree! One of my favorites is the medical examiner Dr. Julia Ogden, though she has transitioned into more of a psychologist position now and their is a new female doctor. (Not sure if I like it but oh well). I really do just love all the characters!

I like the way the characters interact with each other and the historic feel of everything. It’s a time when inventors were discovering great things to help the world along and they found out that fingermarks can help find a bad guy, their is the first lie detector (that was a funny episode…lol).

Most of the seasons is on Netflix but all of them are on Acorn TV. If you like mystery shows then you really should check it out!

So what you currently binging on?
