What I thought of this book.

What I like about this series is that it’s a mystery series about missing persons and not murder. Amelia Moore owns a detective agency that specializes in the missing. Searching for a missing person has taken her and her partner Rick all over the place.

This time they don’t travel out of the US as they go to Colorado. A doll is missing but so is Sam a young man who worked at the museum where the doll was stolen. His girlfriend doesn’t think he stole the doll but wants to know why he took off without telling her.

They are not the only one searching for Sam as well as the doll. The local police, the FBI and a nasty thief are all after Sam. Amelia and Rick really need to find Sam before anybody else does so they can find out what is going on and get some answers.

I really like Amelia and Rick, they make a great partnership as well as couple. It’s fun going with them on adventures as well as being there when they check things off their bucket list. This time one that was checked off of Amelia’s list was to go on a zipline (she is braver than me.) They are just a fun couple.

The Mysterious Doll is a quick, fun, light mystery and very enjoyable. I can’t wait to see where the next mystery and adventure takes them!

The Narrator:

Diane Lehman does a great job with this series, though I admit some of her male voices are a bit strange. Overall though I enjoy listening to her.
