Everything is right on track for Danielle as she prepares for the grand opening of her bed and breakfast. All that changes when her cousin, Cheryl, shows up to claim her share of the inheritance—housemate Lily figures out there is a ghost in the house—and the million dollar necklace goes missing.

There is blood on someone’s hands and if Danielle isn’t careful she’ll be moving from Marlow House to the Big House.

Here is what I thought

Danielle is almost ready to open up Marlow House as a B&B and she is having a special party where she will be wearing the fancy necklace from the last book. It’s worth a lot and some think she is crazy to actually wear it. Things were going pretty good and then her cousin comes to town.

Danielle and her cousin Cheryl didn’t really get along and Cheryl think that because their aunt was not exactly in her right mind when she made out her will, that that was the only reason that she wasn’t left a part of the inheritance. She thinks that half of Marlow house and the necklace belongs to her. She causes a lot of trouble and then something horrible happens.

Everyone suspects Danielle even Joe the policeman she was sort of seeing. Danielle has to do whatever she can to find the real killer.

I like Danielle and I feel bad for her because she can see ghost and it makes it difficult for her when they are talking to her when others are around. I really liked Joe so I hated that he didn’t have enough faith in her to be on her side even when it really looked like she could be guilty. Her friend Lily finally figures out that she really does talk to ghost and that Walt Marlow is still around and she is probably cooler about it than most would be. Her friend rocks! 🙂

Though I did figure out who had done it it wasn’t till close to the end so I think that makes for a really good mystery so if you like a bit of paranormal with your cozies then you might enjoy this series. 🙂

The Narrator

Romy Nordlinger is one of my favorite narrators and so it is always nice to have her being a narrator to a fun series.
