In the next book in Molly Harper’s beloved Half Moon Hollow paranormal romance series, Gigi starts her first job (at Vampire Headquarters), gets over her first love, and may even fall for her first vampire!

Gigi is no longer an innocent teen. All grown up and looking for love, her family and friends worry she’ll go for the sexy, alluring vampire instead of a nice, safe human. But sexy and alluring, with a penchant for biting, could be just what Gigi wants...

Molly Harper is my auto buy when it comes to books or audiobooks. I love having her books on my self but I also love listening to them because they are so laugh out loud funny. This book does not disappoint as it was so funny. I loved getting to Gigi’s story.

What I thought of this book.

Gigi is working for the council even though her sister doesn’t want her too. It’s a great opportunity and comes with great benefits that Gigi can not pass up. Cal has put her been putting her through rigorous training so that she can take care of herself but they still worry.

They have good reason to be worrying as she is attacked by Nick, the vampire that she can’t get out of her mind, in the parking lot of her work place. Luckily she was armed with a stake and stakes his leg and Dick Cheney was near by to help rescue her.  They find out that Nick has been cursed and doesn’t remember half of what he has been doing. He doesn’t remember meeting her during Christmas or following her around, or kissing her. He really wishes he remembered the kissing part.

Crazyiness ensues as Gigi  tries to find out who has cursed Nick, what all is going on at her work place and trying to date Nick but also keep him from trying to kill her, all while trying to keep her very protective vampire family from knowing what she is doing.

I have been curious about Gigi since The Care and Feeding of Stray Vampires and so I was excited about this story. Gigi has gotten use to the undead because her sister and brother-in-law are vampires so she doesn’t get as scare of them as others might. This isn’t always a wise thing for Gigi as it can also get her into trouble but she is pretty capable of taking  care of herself and I really like her.

Nick is a hot Russian Vampire who can’t help but love how Gigi is so fierce and not afraid of him. He goes against his friend, Cal’s wishes and sees Gigi even when he asked him not to because they didn’t know how dangerous he was with the curse. Nick and Gigi make a great couple.

The Dangers of Dating a Rebound Vampire has all the snark and laugh-out-loud fun that you know your going to get when you dig into a Molly Harper novel. It was so much fun going back to Half-Moon Hollow as I love all the characters. I love that you still get a bit of Jan and her clan, plus get to know newer characters that are associated with this spin off series. Once I got started listening to this it was so hard to put down, I finished it in a two days and was a bit sad that it was done. It’s a series that you really just never want to see end and I do hope there will be more!

One word of warning though if you haven’t read I’m Dreaming of an Undead Christmas then I suggest you get that novella first because it is about Gigi and her first encounters with Nick, though at that time we don’t know who the vampire is.

This is a must read for any Molly Harper fan and if you haven’t read any of these then you are missing out on a lot of fun!! I recommend you pick this up today! 🙂

The Narrator:

Amanda Ronconi is by far my all time favorite female narrator! She is so perfect for Molly Harper’s books as she know how to put all that snark and fun that are in Molly’s books!

I so need to get into this series! I love the Harper-Ronconi duo and I thought I was current on her paranormal series. Then I realized this one was different than Jane Jameson (I assumed they were two names doe the same series) and I have some catching up to do! Glad to see it’s still great!

This is a spin off of Jane Jameson..remember when you listened to I’m Dreaming of an Undead Christmas..that was like 2.5 of this series or something like that. 🙂 First in this series was Care and Feeding of a Stray Vampires.
