Welcome to Bitten Point, where a big bad snake dotes on his itty-bitty dog. Got a problem with it? Then speak to his fist.
Don’t mock Constantine’s dog. Princess might weigh only six and a half pounds, but she’s tough—so watch your ankles. Be warned, if she doesn’t like you then neither will Constantine.
Except he kinds of likes Aria, even though Princess would prefer to bury her in a hole.
Could it be because Aria has secrets? Lots of them, and they all have to do with the danger stalking Bitten Point. People are missing, and some have turned up dead. Monsters are roaming and not just the swamp at night but the streets too. At the heart of the mystery is a bite-sized woman, a woman Constantine wants to hug tightly in his coils and…keep forever?
A cold-blooded snake, Constantine can’t help but crave the warmth that is Aria, but can he keep her out of mortal danger long enough to make her his mate?

Here is what I thought
Eve Langlais is one of my favorite paranormal romance authors and I always know I am going to have fun when I read one of her novels.
Aria has escaped from some bad guys but between the drugs they gave her and crawling through a swamp she has a hard time remembering things. Constantine, a python shifter finds her while walking his little dog, Princess. Yes, you read that right…lol.
He wants to help her and his shifter self seems to really like Aria, but snakes are not known for sticking around and since his father left them he figures he will probably just like him. So he tries really hard not to get attached to her but he can’t help himself.
I love Constantine, he is this big hunky man who turns into a python and yet he has this little bitty dog with the name of Princess, and don’t you dare mess with his dog. There is a part in the book where he is in snake form and the little dog is riding on his head, I was laughing so hard trying to picture this large snake and little dog. 🙂 I am not a fan of snakes but Constantine won me over. Aria is pretty spunky too for a bird shifter and I really enjoyed her character. Her and Constantine made a fun couple.
Now I just need to finish this series out with Gator’s Challenge! Can’t wait!
Recommend if you like
Paranormal romances, lots of snark and laugh out loud dialogue and shifters.
The Narrator
Chandra Skyye is likable as a narrator but not always a favorite. She does do a good job with these but wish she had a better range of voices.

Shifter books don’t typically grab me but the whole thing with the little dog is hilarious! This sounds like a lot of fun!
Stormi
This is a fun series because they are not your usual shifters, there are gators and pythons and one panther (the main shifters), then there are some other characters that are different shifters, I like how the author sometimes puts predator and prey together for mates.
Those dog scenes though were pretty funny, he was so protective of his little dog.

I love the titles for the books and they sound fabulous. I am going to have to check this series out.

I completely forgot about the scene with Princess riding on his head. Thank you so much for reminding me of that.
Stormi
Your welcome, it’s such a funny scene…lol. 🙂

She is such a riot. If there was anyone who could make me fall for a snake shifter it would be her, I’m sure.

I think I’ll request this one. My kind of shifters, Stormi! And it appears to be a quick book too. Had to laugh at that line, “Likes to hug and squeeze.” LOL
Lola
I haven’t read any of the books by this author yet, but I have some of them on my to-read list as I Heard lots of good things about her books. This one sounds like fun! And I like she writes about some rarer shifter types.
