Don't moose with his fox!

A bullheaded moose doesn't stand a chance when a fox decides to make him her mate.

Boris left to defend his country still a boy. He came back a changed man. A damaged man.

But Jan still wants him.

A man of few words, Boris has a firm way of saying No, but this determined vixen knows he's her mate. Despite some less than subtle overtures, Jan has not had much success in getting her bullheaded moose to notice her, but all that changes when her life is put in danger.

Suddenly the damaged soldier keeps finding excuses to come to her rescue, but as far as Jan is concerned, her mate is the one in need of saving.

It will take some subtle maneuvering to outfox her moose into admitting he loves her, but this wily vixen is more than ready for the challenge. And if that doesn't work, momma's offered to loan her the shot gun used for her own engagement.

Welcome to Kodiak Point, where the wildlife might wear clothes, but animal instinct rules the heart.

I am really enjoying this series on Audio and can’t wait to get my hands on the next in the series!

What I thought of this book.

This the first series where the beginning sort of takes you back to things that happened in the book before it, but did things from another perspective.

It starts out with Jane and crashing her SUV among some other things that I don’t want to giveaway. Boris was sent to find her and he finds her out in the woods. Jane has been crushing on Boris for a long time and she has finally decided that she isn’t going to be the girly girl anymore. If he doesn’t seem to like that then why try. So Boris is really surprised to learn that his little vixen has taken down some of the enemy and not afraid to shoot a gun. She takes his gun twice and shoots the enemy shifters.

Boris isn’t sure what is going on with this sweet fox that he has tried so hard to say away from but she is not acting like herself, or is she. Boris realizes there are things about Jane he didn’t know but he still plans to stay away from her even though she is not making it easy. Boris had once thought about a life with Jane but then he went to war and come back scared not only physically but mentally. He has really bad nightmares and PTSD and doesn’t want to subject Jane to it. He is broken and doesn’t think he can be fixed.  Boris is so sweet and sexy and I think I might like him more than Reid who was in the first book.

Jane has run after the big ole moose forever and she has decided to not play nice. She pretty much seduces the poor moose into doing what she wanted him to do all along, want her. She knows that he is her mate but he is so hard-headed. She only played all girly girl because she thought it would attract Boris, but her father raised her like she was the son he never had, so she knows her way around guns and hunting. That poor moose never had a chance. I love Jane, she is fun, spunky and just so lovable!

Boris and Jane’s story was filled with so much fun and sexiness and I enjoyed it a lot! This series so far has been humorous and sexy. If you like paranormal romances that will make you laugh then you need to read these. I do want to say that this is a series that really needs to be read in order. It has a continuing story that goes from first book and into the other books as well as the individual stories of the main character.

The Narrator:

Still couldn’t find a clip of this series to let you listen too but I am starting to warm up to this narrator and I thought she did pretty good with this book. I do think that her male voices sound a bit to alike and some times I wasn’t sure if it was Boris or Reid who was talking but other than that I think she did good.
