MURDERMYSTERY AUDIOBOOK

What I thought of this book.

Merry is still working fixing up the Winter Castle that she inherited. She fears that she can not keep it as it’s to expensive to keep up, but if she fixes it up she might get a buyer. So she decides to have a party for potential buyers and she makes it a masquerade party.

Things don’t go so well when she finds one of the guest still in her house and he isn’t moving. It seems to be that he is the brother of a man who was killed from the previous book. What was he doing at her party and why is her there? Not only does she have to deal with this but she has a man who says that he is also an heir to the Winter Castle because his mother dated Merry’s uncle and that he just found out who his father was. Merry doesn’t really believe him but she is not real sure what to do with him, he is really annoying.

Merry along with her friends and the policeman in charge Virgil (whom kind of likes Merry) work together to find out what is happened. It has a little to do with the first book so I don’t want to say anything that might spoil things if you haven’t read the first book. 🙂

I think I liked this one a bit better than the first book and I am rooting for Merry to find a grand way to keep the Winter Castle, so I am curious to see what will go on in the next book. The mystery was really good and really enjoy all the characters.

Merry is really interesting character but her friends are a lot of fun as well. Pish is probably one of my favorites as he is so big city. I was also excited for how things worked out with her friend (can’t remember her name) and Jack.

If you like cozies then you will enjoy this one as well.

The Narrator:

Margaret Strom does a really good job with this series and I am starting to get use to her voice.
