What I thought of this book.

It was so fun to be back with my magical ladies in the Charmed Pie Shoppe. Not only was there a mystery but it was full of action as Ella Mae had to go up against someone who wanted her magic.

Since it’s book four and has this who magical plotline that is woven throughout the stories in each book that it’s hard to talk about this one without giving away something so I am not really going to say much.

Ella Mae is having love life problems as well as coming to terms with her magic and running her Charmed Pie Shoppe. I really like her and love how she can put her emotions into her pies which can go a bit hinky at times and is a lot of fun.

I love all the side characters, her mother, aunts and the new ones that were introduced in the last book are weaving nicely into the story.

This one felt a bit more like a paranormal book than cozy at times but nevertheless, I still liked it and was very surprised at whodunit. This series always has great mysteries.

I have one more to go and I will be caught up with this series which is a little sad as I hate waiting…lol.

If you love cozies with some paranormal mixed in then you will like this series!

The Narrator:

C.S.E. Cooney is one of my favorite narrators.  She does a lot of cozies.
