When a member of Molly Pink’s crochet group is suspected of murder, it’s up to Molly and her pals to pick up the dropped stitches and catch a killer.
What I thought of this book.
The Tarzana Hookers, are not street ladies, but a crochet group. 🙂 When one of their ladies Sheila tells them about how she thinks she is being cheated money for her scarfs that she sales on consignment, now that the place has new owners, nobody knew things would term deadly. The man that Sheila accused is now dead and Sheila’s prints are all over everything so it’s not looking good for her.
Molly Pink knows that Sheila couldn’t have done it so she sets out to find out what happened, and crosses hairs with the lady detective that doesn’t like her. Her detective boyfriend wants her to stay out of things, but of course she can’t.
Molly and the Tarzana Hookers are a group of characters that are slowing growing on me. I wasn’t sure what I thought of them in the first one but I am starting to like them a bit. I can’t pinpoint exactly what it is but you know sometimes you just don’t click with characters, but that didn’t mean that I didn’t enjoy it because I did, I just think it’s taking me a bit to warm up to them.
It has a good whodunit and I didn’t have it figured out before the ending so I always like that.
I have enjoyed Margaret Strom’s narration before and she does good with this series.
